re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

Yeah, I am far enough south that I can get it in by April 1st and should be just fine...I photo document when and I am at my usual time...the plants are bigger than what I usually have to transplant...all survived transplant without even a sign of shock...I am so pleased:cheesygrinsmiley:

With my elevation higher than Denver i gotta wait until Memorial Day weekend, so iLL veg em until then, gotta get the greenhouse built asap. Looking good hoz

No vivir means I don't live in Cali...too many granola bars live there.:cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks! The ones on the North wall have been vegging inside for well over 60 days with lots of LST and Supercropping...Now comes the fun part! I love growing outside!!! Yeah a greenhouse in your part of the country adds at least a month at both ends of the growing season:cheesygrinsmiley:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

Living in the desert, I never considered a greenhouse ....draws a lot of attention also.:cheesygrinsmiley: I am so about stealth outdoors...I also had a problem with the AC venting...easy fix...the screen was catching the air and coming back inside and inflating the metallic insulation so I removed the screen, problem solved!:cheesygrinsmiley: Clean exit now...my new cool tube and ballast should be here tomorrow and the rest some time next week. :cheesygrinsmiley:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

Well I dont gotta worry about freezes ( had plants out in december)

But I do gotta worry about 115 degree summers :/

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

Plants respond exponentially to timed watering! They just love it!
Yes they do...I have been doing it for a couple of years out there now and the plants got huge...:cheesygrinsmiley:

Damn and I thought South Florida was hot... We do have the nasty high RH though!! Raining today so far...garden needed it so did my grass.
But our RH is less than 10% :cheesygrinsmiley: Less chance for bud mold...:slide:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

My ballast and CoolTube arrived today. Will give it a trial run with lights on tonight. Making sure I don't trip breakers, won't have the rest of my stuff until next week...then I can add the ducting and 6" inline fan. Hope it stays cool enough...The ballast was a surprise, with three settings...recommendations my friends????:cheesygrinsmiley:
:tokin:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

start at the lowest one and go from there?
at least to see if you start trippin. Far out man:hippy:

re: Boomer444's 2013 Indoor & Outdoor Grows

it is a sealed hps light unit that cool air can be pulled through via a duct with a fan I think:) dont have one meself:)
What exactly is a cool tube? Is that better than hps?

What Fish said!:cheesygrinsmiley:

:cheesygrinsmiley: except I will have two Cooltubes one for MH and one for HPS for the multi-spectrum effect and the MH is on a dimmable ballast so hopefully I won't be popping breakers:cheesygrinsmiley:The tube surrounds the bulb with both ends open until you connect the flexible ducting and fan. People concerned about odor control connect a carbon scrubber at the intake end of the set-up.:cheesygrinsmiley:

Ooooh ok, sounds a bit complex. The cool air gets pulled through and cools the tent/plants?

And through the lamps, keeping temps down in the tent. :cheesygrinsmiley:
