Hope everyone is doing well! Just stopping by for a little update and maybe some advice? It has been so, so hot and humid here for the past week and a half with lots and lots of heavy rain. The outdoor girls have been soaking it in and growing up. Problem is, there has been so much daily rain that they’ve only been fed once during that time and they are starting to show pale leaves developing at the bottom of two of them. Let’s have a look:
That‘s Banana Kush on the left, Lemon OG Candy in the middle, and Sour Tangie on the right. Banana and Lemon have doubled in size and Tangie has gotten wider and taller. She is about three feet while the other two are about 4 feet (need to bring my measuring tape outside!). Here is where I’m looking for advice…
Banana and Tangie have yellowing/fading leaves starting at the bottom. I think it is because I’ve not been able to feed them because their pots are full of rainwater. This year I decided to go with bigger pots so that I don’t have to water them every-single-day, so the Tangie is in a 25 gal pot and the other two are in 35s (I think). They are fucking huge. I need to get these ladies on a wet/dry cycle but Mother Nature isn’t helping out. I’m thinking maybe I should go ahead and feed them to runoff regardless of how much rainwater is still in their pots just so I can get some nutrients in them. What do you say - bad or good idea?
In other news, the Wookie that I dropped after I chopped the Skunk plant never sprouted… So, in typical Boo fashion I said “I know how to make a Wookie seed sprout…drop 2 seeds, which will put me over my legal limit if they both sprout. Thats how I roll.” And they both sprouted! Introducing:
Baby Wookies! Not sure what that black stuff is on the leaf, but it was sticky and I didn‘t want to hurt her trying to wipe it off.
Baby Mimosa Cake! I’m so excited for these little ladies. It feels like it’s been sooooo long since I’ve had an autoflower growing. They both sprouted on the 26th of June so they are 10 days old today That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is having a good summer/winter, and thanks for looking!
