Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

Yeahhhh, mine does too now. Awesome! :high-five:
So. I am gonna start out by saying that whew! My outdoor gals survived the massive storms we had yesterday. The Purple Skunk Mass/Grape Krush and Grape Krush are two different plants. With the Grape Krush being the more needy of the two... In other outdoor news. Here is amnesia Haze. I can't help but feel that I could do her so much more justice indoors. In my neck of the woods, I feel like summer is too freaking hot for autos...:hmmmm: maybe a fall grow outside is a perfect auto flower grow? Okay. Here are a couple of shots of Amnesia Haze Auto. She is one that will have a place indoors hopefully this year. She's delicious and beautiful and I feel bad that she, among others have had to suffer the VA heat and humidity. She deserves better! Here she is:

We are fostering a new pup right now. He’s about 8 months old, a hound I believe. He was pulled off a property with several other dogs that were tied up on short tethers in the 100+ degree weather. Owner said he couldn’t “remember” the last time he’d been fed. They got pulled by animal control and sent to a high kill shelter (which hardly seems fair!) so I offerred to foster in order to get him off the kill list. I really hope there is a special kind of hell for PoS animal owners like that.

We need to get about 15 pounds onto his little frame, he’s a little sweetheart…..and Joe is enjoying having a dog around that will play with him! :high-five:
Awwww! Bless you for fostering dogs! I am a slave to 4 dogs. 2 mutts & 2 Jack Russell's.

Hi all! Let’s talk about fauxtos! CBD and Blow Dream surprised me by not being autoflowering and they continue to do so with their growth. Here’s a group shot with Blow Dream on the right. She’s about 7’ tall with CBD closely behind.
PXL_20210810_122051900.jpg

Let’s start with the CBD. She’s beautiful and is going to town flowering.
PXL_20210810_122103970.PORTRAIT.jpg

Sorry for the blur in the pics, it’s been breezy a lot lately.
PXL_20210810_122129059.PORTRAIT.jpg

Huge, beautiful leaves on this gal.
PXL_20210810_122159786.PORTRAIT.jpg

Finally, she really is flowering! :yahoo:

Stacking things up! She smells so good and has for weeks. I’m super excited about getting this one to harvest! Thanks again to @Carcass for the seed!
Next up is Blow Dream:

Her trunk is the biggest of the 9(!) plants Ive got growing.
PXL_20210810_122252488.PORTRAIT.jpg

Shes got huge leaves too, with 11 fingers. Just gorgeous.
PXL_20210810_122313361.PORTRAIT.jpg

Im calling her barely in flower…if there is such a thing! She’s trying really hard.

Stay safe out there! :peace::love:
Beautiful green colors! Looks great! But, I think I'll stick to little indoor plants...

Both are beautiful plants! :welldone: You're gonna be harvesting for days and days come October.

When they get that big, it's hard to believe they're just a weed....
I'm really glad my crabgrass and dandelions don't get that tall...
Beautiful, Boo!

The deed is done. Amnesia auto came down today. She was sticky as fook and was the stinkiest (in a good way) plant I've grown so far. Her trichromes were so pronounced that I could see them with just my readers. Yum, yum, yum.

I'm thinking maybe 2 ounces dried, but not too concerned. I'll def grow her indoors next time! :p

Gorgeous girls & the harvest looks quite sticky & sweet! :yummy: Excellent! :goodjob:

Happy Friday all! :ciao: I’ve been working my tail off in the miserable heat and humidity all week and we are finally getting some relief with storms rolling thru. I was able to get a Sauga shot of the Purple Skunk Mass/Grape Krush and Grape Krush before the wind and rain rolled in.
PXL_20210813_192657564.jpg

PSM/Grape Krush. She’s a beauty and a monster of plant.
PXL_20210813_192739656.jpg

Grape Krush. She’s big all around and has these branches that are really long and bowed. Not a real nice shape. This is the trunk of the Blow Dream fauxto. Of all the plants in my garden hers is the biggest. :cheesygrinsmiley:
PXL_20210813_151913751.PORTRAIT.jpg

I was pretty close to the weight of the Amnesia auto after drying. She’s in jars at 63 Rh.
PXL_20210810_122958891.PORTRAIT.jpg

I found eight, 1 gallon jars on Marketplace. Exactly what I was looking for!
PXL_20210813_000949846.jpg

I was going to wish everyone a nice weekend, but while I was watching the wind roll through here ahead of the rain, this happened:
PXL_20210813_195244643.jpg

I was actually looking at it from above when the wind came up and the whole thing just broke.

It was so windy and there were lighting strikes all around. I knew I couldn’t fix this gal in the current weather conditions (if she even IS fixable) so I dragged the CBD and Blow Dream off the old pool deck and under the house deck to shelter. It is still pouring here so I can’t really assess the extent of the damage yet. But me thinks it’s fairly bad.

Well, Hell!
There seems to still be some of the "skin" attached, so, even though it looks real bad, she might patch up pretty well...
The rain may work to your advantage, keeping things from drying out too much until you can work some magic...

She's a no go. I did leave a stump when I topped her but whatever kind of swirl the wind did it broke the two mains off. There's really nothing to attach to that would be strong enough to hold those big branches. Shit. I'll hopefully get a clearer view tomorrow. Lost a large branch on GSC#3 as well. On a positive note it is now 74 degrees out and will likely be like that for a couple of days.

Friday the 13th strikes! :(

If you can’t reattach, I really think you should try to make those broken branches into “clones”. Felipe Blu did the same thing when a branch broke off his outdoor plant too.

It certainly did! I was so hoping my granddaughter would be born today….my daughter is almost a week past due. Poor thing is MISERABLE.
I hadn’t thought about a clone HH. That plant is in flower. Still okay to do with your/VGs method? I tried it once but didn’t know the part about not having the stem in water So it didn’t work. I can go out and cut a few! Thanks HH!

Yikes Boo! That really blows. Who knows, maybe you can just shove them into the ground and they could become the world's largest clones. Worth a try....

Thanks Beez. It blows, but honestly I’m not surprised. That particular plants structure was, in my opinion, vulnerable to something like that happening. Her branches were super long and straight out from the trunk vice growing with a “V” structure. And what broke was, I believe, the “V” I created when topping months ago. There were three big branches that are toast but I still have one solid branch to work with so I need to figure out what to do with the trunk where the other branches broke and it’s raw wood. Duct tape? I am super bummed because the seeds for this plant along with the PSM/GK were gifted to me by @InTheShed. They are my 4/20 babies and I wanted to do them justice. Once the weather clears I’ll get a good look and see what I can do for her. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I think Felipe put his in a vase of water and it rooted. I’m not sure if the fact that it’s blooming matters. Beez just successfully rooted a cutting with buds on it and it’s still making more buds with lots of root growth. I think you should just stick those broken branches in the dirt and see what happens - for science.
