Boo’s Perpetual Grow Journal

It needs a bigger chamber given the diameter but I just dump out what doesn't fall through
Yeah, but I don’t wanna do that. For me personally, I like to smoke a variety of different buds - because I have them and I can, so yeah, there’s that, now. :laughtwo: I would love to have a medium sized grinder that I can drop a bud, or a piece of bud into and have a couple bowls one evening and then have it empty and ready for the next eve. My grinder is not consistently good and maybe I’m putting too much bud in it, but if I am it’s because it’s not grinding well…Make sense? :cheesygrinsmiley: Now I’m on the quest with Copperrein for a new/better grinder. I wonder if yours comes in a slightly smaller version?

I agree with Boo about leaving weed in the grinder. I feel like if I ground the same amount I do now in a larger grinder I might have an easier time of it. I'm guessing it'll just be like plates: food goes on the plate based on surface area of the plate, not how much food you actually want: smaller plate less food, bigger plate oh lawd more food. Am I just gonna shove half a cola in a bigger grinder because there's more room?

Grinders are like toothpaste...to many options. Tons of people are like 'reee! Santa Cruize or GTFO' and I'm like $60 for a 2.5" grinder? Damn.

Also thank you @Virgin Ground imma go check them out!

omg @Virgin Ground $160 :thedoubletake:
Those do look brilliant, though. I like the diamond teeth. hmmm
Holy smokes! That's is spendy.
They do have models that are less expensive but they lack a keif collector or other features.
Looks like the model I have is $50+.
No collector included.

:ciao: @InTheShed will this work? I couldn't find citric acid in the baking aisle, this stuff is used in canning.

I wouldn't use it because of all the additional ingredients. 100% citric acid is what your looking for, and I'm thinking either Amazon or get your mom on the case...she can find shit!

Also, this is where the weed goes after it's ground:

Plus a few others that don't fit!
Ok thanks. I'll look again next time I go out, and also order some. ;)

So, do you grind up all the bud at once or just accumulate individual containers as you grind? Hopefully that makes sense...

I fill a container with whole flowers from the jar and pack it pretty well. Then I take that amount of flower, grind it, and put it back in that container. It's usually fills it pretty close to the top that way. I just did the Fruit Punch this morning.

My grinders are always put away empty.

BTW the citric acid is powder, in case that matters. Mine's from Milliard in the blue package.

Ah, okay. It took me a moment to see that those are not huge jars. Lol... Correct? Pill type bottles?

I feel ridiculous that I didn't clue in on a very sensible and easy way to have a variety of little ground bud available. I even have the containers and I've been doing exactly that and giving samples in them. :eye-roll: Anyhow...Purple Lemonade got ground up tonight. I need her, we recently got kayaks and today we took them onto the James River. It was glorious, but a lot of paddling for my maiden voyage. Lol. Purple Lemonade take me way. :meditate:

Ooo...are you flat water or do you do rapids ever? I miss exploring the potomac and all the cool little nooks and crannies of the Chesapeake <3
For now it’s flat water. I’m new at this and would like to get the mechanics down before we do anything rapid like. We have a 3 acre pond so we’ve taken them out there a couple times. The James River trip yesterday was off the boat ramp and we paddled upstream, with a good wind blowing against us so that we could cruise back down to the boat ramp. Next trip we will park two trucks - one at the beginning and one at the end, and float about 2 hours down to the boat ramp - sounds perfect for a gummy or a joint, huh? :rollit: There are all kinds of channels along the James, and there is the Rockfish River and the South River, and, and, and. We are at the very beginning of our explorations. :cheesygrinsmiley:

That's so cool! I love kayaking but I suck at it :D If you ever have the inclination, head down to the Ocoee in Tennessee. There's some nice rapids and the whole area around it is just a bunch of hippies running rafting trips. It's one of my favorite places.

:ciao: Hi! Getting updates done while I can. :cheesygrinsmiley:. I was so excited about my outdoor GSCs going to flower that I decided to clean out my messy, messy coffers of weed jars! I have a lot of Cinderella 99 from last year's outdoor grow so I decarbed 6 ounces and made a few batches of gummies with my Cindy/Skittles tincture while it cooked. I have a lot of empty jars now, but I want ones that will hold a minimum of 3 ounces each for the future. Any suggestions are welcome!

I also moved the two outdoor auto flowers off of the pallets with the GSCs and onto the deck. @copperrein this is a South facing brick wall! We shall see how they do. :high-five:

The Amnesia has been flowering for a couple of weeks now and she smells so sweet and candy like. Yum.

That's it for now! :peace:
