BMG Grow Journal

I'm unsure if the completely albino plant will root. I also have a cutting from another plant that's half variegated and half albino. I took a cut from this branch and kept both together to try and root. This is my first time dealing with such circumstances, so it's a self-learning experience. I'm not sure what to expect.

I have a non-variegated male that will be used to reproduce this line. Additionally, I have two more variegated plants that have not yet sexed and are too young to take clones. If one of them turns out to be male, it will be utilized on the clones going forward as a second part of Preservation 3 which will be documented as Preservation 3.5 before proceeding to Preservation 4.

This grow is going to take some time to complete. I have one variegated plant pollinated with it's green counterpart, alongside a green female and a bleeding Hawaiian Sativa. I've taken clones from the variegated plants and set them aside until the seeds are ready, so I can search for and find a variegated male counterpart.

Every clone is unique, even if they originate from the same plant. The Esta Vida Loca plant is half-variegated, producing a variety of variegations on one side. This results in each clone displaying different patterns of variegation—some more, some less, and some entirely variegated. Growing this plant provides answers to many questions, as nobody can offer better insights than the plant itself.

I'm really not a fan of the new update. I miss the old Enseedfinder. It made it so much easier to print and organize my seeds. I'm glad I printed everything out for my entire collection before the update.

Purple Kush Autoflower Breeding Cabinet: This cabinet is exclusively dedicated to breeding Purple Kush Autoflower strains or creating New Hybrids using the PKA males.

I'm glad I printed out my entire seed collection before Enseedfinder made the change. This way, I can keep track of the history and lineage of every pack, ensuring that I or anyone else can easily reference it.

Got these directly from Mel before she left the scene. Thank You Mel!

Sometimes I stumble upon a thread and can't help but sit back and laugh. It’s hilarious to think that in 2024, all you need to do to be a breeder is take one male, pollinate a room full of females, and BOOM! You're now a breeder with an elite "Box Set." Makes me wonder why I'm putting in all this effort for selective breeding! 😆

Anyway, back on topic.

Things that went wrong this grow:

- I didn't wash the coco thoroughly enough, and used old coco that might have had a gnat infestation. I only noticed the problem when some plants started doing better than others. Upon closer examination of the medium, I saw that only the pots with the old coco had issues. I had to uproot the plants, clean them thoroughly, and replant them in new coco.

- Germination: I'm terrible at it! I don't know how some people can just throw a seed and have it grow. It's quite embarrassing, especially considering I've been doing this for over 15 years and still struggle at the beginning stage.

I'm teaching myself how to train plants to keep them micro. I've had to discard a few clones due to their structure. Once you lose control over the plant, you lose control over the structure and you have to start over. For me, these plants serve not only for cloning but also as conversation pieces or decorative elements.
