Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

right now i have so much negative pressure we are thinking of putting in a return damper. the damper could give me an rh boost. otherwise i'm swapping in an adjustable fan.

pops wants to try the damper because fun with hardware :laughtwo:

i don't have to worry about temps, would still move enough air. i already pull from a heated interior on purpose.

edit : i have big snail up there. super old school. exchanges air bit under every minute.

here it is

full

i call it snailthuseslah since it's such an old cage type design. noisy by more modern standards too.

i have different filter on it now. used to have a way bigger fan than that exact same design. it woulda sucked the walls off this space.

oh boy will it ever. i can't put a control on it though. it's the wrong type. and it's still on needle bearings. rollers are way quieter.

it's built to do one thing only. move air. as much as it can. all the time. until it dies, and i can't seem to kill it.

i apply old principles to new tech.

my pops was a mechanical engineer. he taught me to determine what the minimum needs are for any given parameter. then double it.

i build my cars and grow spaces accordingly :cheesygrinsmiley:

it actually saves money. most won't believe you but its true. i believe an up front cost for the right thing saves more than pinching pennies. and i am poor in cash. more flush on other assets lol :p

so my clones do not wanna get with the program

full

they have drooped right out one me, and don't seem interested in building roots. i've been giving them a weak seedling hempy feed every couple days, and do a foliar as well. it's mostly the foliar that's been keeping them going.

full

they are a bit greener in person, i didn't correct for the light. i took the clones just a day or two too late, it was only a wk after flip but they had already decided to turn.

i started them on 24 /0 for a few days and have gone to 20 / 4.

full

they've stubbornly kept trying to produce pistils. hoped the 4 days of 24 / 0 would have halted it. they just wouldn't quit. i'm leaving them on the 20 / 4 to see if i they turn back.

haven't given up on them. if they don't stop eating themselves to try flower they won't have any energy to develop roots until too late. keeping at it no matter. this is the first time i've taken hempy cuttings that needed to reveg.

there are a couple giving that weird look as they move toward revegging.

will be working at the jungle room tonight.
I admire your spirit to keep pushing on with them. I seriously suck at cloning so I’d look at it as “they’re still standing “ yeah! Best of Luck!

pulled the flower gals out to get some work done.

full

they've all gotten some colour back, and flower is coming along nicely. i've still got one powerplant riding a rail on the lean side. a few leaves lower down are a bit pale, but all the newer stuff up top has greened in nicely

full

don't think it will halt entirely on the lower stuff, but it should be able to make it. we are still feeding daily at the 6g / gal mark. actual measure is 8.5g / 5.5L. i have no issues with any of the others. i probably could have done a minor defol as the interiors had filled in a lot thicker than i had anticipated.

i untied everyone, though there may still be some stretch. then adjusted the shelving 'floor' in the jungle room to even the canopy a bit.

full

this will give me 24 inches of head room on the tallest. i can let them grow 6 inches further in to the 18 inch range. i set my lights at 18 - 24 inches in flower. if they don't continue to stretch in to the 18 inches i'll lower the light by 4 or 5.

i pulled back the schedule to 11 / 13 and will run that for a week or two before going to 10 / 14 for the rest of flower. we're running the light at 75 - 80%. leaves show decent lift, with a very late day droop still. maybe a half hour or so before lights out.

full

not much droop there with everyone settled. here's a lights on shot about an hour before dark.

the indica pheno gorilla glue in front is soaking up all it can get still. the thing is a bush, and 180 degree expression of the other gorilla glue, which came out total sativa like the powerplant. i'll have to check the lineage of the gorilla glue, i thought it was all sativa. i'm trying to reveg cuttings from both right now.

from above ..

full

all the sativas are a bit more pale than my hybrid runs. the hybrid cbdream are as green as every other run i've had with them. they are also sativa leaning. the gorilla glue pheno in front was right out of left field. it also tips easily and seems to like it a bit leaner.

can really see how much red my lights carry. i run a mix of 3000k / 3500k cobs. both veg and flower. 2700k is considered far end red, and only suited for flower. the lower k i run has just enough blue to do both. i can run even the big rig through all stages if i need. but you can really see the red under the large rig.

full

my hempy cuttings are continuing to struggle. they're still hanging in though. i'd have no trouble if i wasn't trying to reveg them.

full

looking tough but there is some hope starting at the nodes with tiny new leaves. i've had worse looking ones make it that didn't need to reveg.

Looking beautiful. My GG is a cross of sour diesel and chocolate diesel. Also seen some places stating parent strains chems sister, sour dubb and chocolate diesel.

i'm running a dr seeds version. pretty sure it's an in-house cross they built. there are far too many strains with the same name now.

That jungle is looking rather nice bluter! Maybe some are a little pale but it's tough to get that many different plants all emerald green, if they're even programmed to do that :). Nice to see that your cuttings haven't keeled over yet...always a good sign!

I've stayed away from the GG4 because the descriptions I find always make it seem like an indica-leaner. I have enough sleepy weed at my house!

i got one heavy GG sativa leaner too

the one in the back corner is a gorilla glue. it's totally opposite it's sister. the one in the fore ground is a powerplant.

clones are really nip and tuck right now. they are pretty much dead and still trying to throw pistils. i don't think i'll ever pull clones this late ever again. i almost always have pistils a wk in to 12 /12. i'm going to keep trying, just to see if the hempy method is doable in this situation. usually i have a lot of new growth by this time.
