Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

very jazz / r &B / island influence. solid.

i like the minority rep. we get white washed here hard.

this isn't for everyone but is a breakout in marrying indigenous vibes and modern

edit: they got piles of other tracks out too.

Wow! That was not what I was expecting, not that I knew what to expect.

I can definitely vibe with this one! More of a sativa-leaning daytime smoke though

holy crap i really need to feed the plants.

they weigh less than a sack of feathers right now. 750 ml every two day days.
was gonna let it slide til morning but i better not.

dammit everythings a mess .. cleaned my pipe and got carried away

edit: been a shit wk. hate my job in pandemic lol

Hi bluter I really like that cut. A tribe called red. Yeah I like it. Robbie Robertson did some nice collabs with a lot of Indigenous groups. I played with lots of great Indigenous players in Alaska from old time fiddle music-waltzes and jigs and stuff- to good rock and blues. Shit, I lived and worked in bars for years haha. Warmed up fer George Thorogood and played with blues guys like James Cotton and Jimmy rogers.

i did a few thorogood shows. going back pre internet.
i have immense respect for him as both a professional musician and as a human.

he kind of exudes both humility and class. he's helped a lot of people too i hear.

whathca listening to tonight 420 ?

i'm workin on the plants and listening to this offline ..

i'm gonna surf up some thorogood after feeding the plants now though.

edit : i'm kind of an old wimpy punk . my jamaican friends called me rudy lol

Haha so.... Rudy bluter! When I'm on bass I love to throw down on some ska and reggae.. I did that gig in the early 90s - last stop on a north American tour for them and George was so nice. I had the balls to play a little slide on our set... "little red rooster" that old howling wolf tune. Hahaha fun times.

sweet.

i like howlin wolf too. i keep looking for the earlier stuff i used to find analog on digital and it is missing. makes me covet some old tech and shiver for the future.

never knew what a rudy was in jamacian culture before those guys.
the handle kinda cuts both ways. it's kinda trouble maker. bit deeper.

but they treated me super decent. call me for parties and shit. was super odd but fun being the minority.

edit : used to have piles of reggae . still love it
