Bluter's Happy Home For Hilarious Hempsters

Usually I just take branches that don’t make it to the canopy. Maybe clean a few fans at the bottom. I spread the canopy open but take as few leaves as possible.

this is the most managed grow i've done. pops really liked the way the last one turned out. it was a bunch easier for him to handle. i was quite happy with the main cola development. but it cost some weight for sure.

trimming was much better for the most part. the tangie was typically branched out as my last flat out indica.

even went after the shampoo cup hempy. at least the one has been doing rather well.

trim and final adjustment.

was simply gonna flower this to see how it goes. now i'm wondering if i should up pot and mother it instead . :bongrip:

It would make an excellent bonsai mom. You already have the right shape for it.

i gotta decide fast. it moves in a couple hours otherwise. not sure i can get it through the worst of the heat / pest season. sure like it though.

been exploring training for a bit. mostly for pops. he has a hard time with big natural plants. been searching for the method (s) that suits the best. think i could use a slightly larger bucket. these are 2L. thinking 3 - 3.5L.

still working on and tweaking things bit by bit. :hookah:

bucket of leftover carnage. :laughtwo:

i used to save and juice the leaves. i just can't get to it all fast enough. but it's great with some fruit juices.

look at the underside shows the lollipop undercut

everyone from up top.

will grab a current pic to compare

there we go. big difference in even a small amount of time.
the tangie and lsd got hungry on me. i'm at 5g MC / gal RO. haven't been there too long. was looking at everyone tipping previous.

gonna hit 5.5 for flip right away.

oh yeah i fished a crawler out at the last feed. watching for pests now. crap.

i plug the hole and flood feed. so the water table gets above the perlite. helps drive out anything that wants to lay eggs. it was multi-legged, so maybe not a larval stage or winged critter. i have all kinds of junk crawling through where i live.

Lollipop looks on point, don’t take chances with bugs.

i'm friggin paranoid. never moved anything to flower with a crawler / flier. managed to keep that room clear for a couple years now. veg room is another battle altogether. i'm over 80% med - so it's super important to remain pest free.

edit: normally i'd wait another feed to see if anything came to the top again. i have to roll on these today though.

I start treatments ASAP, I’ve lost plants to insects and it’s not acceptable to me.

will hit them with h202 if any thing else emerges. h202 is a steeper offer in an mc / hempy grow.

multi-legged makes me feel a tad easier. we don't get so much of those that are interested in these plants here. it's gnats and mites i am most concerned over. veg space has proven itself susceptible.

H2O2 will kill the larvae and it breaks down very quickly

it kills everything mc lol. it's my go to in this case though.

will do a 29% 1ml / L soak if there's anything else poking it's head up. i'm thinking whatever it was was not a canna specific killer.

I wouldn’t take a chance, I hate all bugs. Lol
probably hit them all once they get a feed in after flip.

timing always seems to be awesome when this shit comes around.

I’ve been using Nuke ‘Em (flying skull) with good success. Safe all the way through chop.
unobtainable. same as mosquito dunks here. very much illegal.

Really? Wow. Y’all got some strict ass pest control stuff, and other stuff too. Z7 is Z9, no nuke em. Damn.

pretty sure the z7 is legal. i can probably order, but no one is allowed to carry on the shelves. not like they are open anyway. :p

maybe it's z9 -- the crappier of the two anyway .. :laughtwo:

True enough.

The rest of our businesses (the non essential ones that had to close) are opening up Monday. Social distancing, 25% capacity, blah blah.

Means a trip to the hydro store for a long awaited ration of shit.

been working here all along in my industry.

there's a pile of stuff folk need to get to though. i'm sure we are losing at least 1 grow specific local supplier. maybe two. that's 50% of the market.

Z7 and Z9 are the same product, just 2 different labels. One for the US and one for Canada.

it is a different formula. there is one chemical not approved. it would be the useful one .... :laughtwo:
