on the poorly girl , looks like sudden death syndrome. Plants can have this happen too. initially connected to CIA spraying them in Vietnam to kill production as it funded the NVA. They sprayed an agent to mutate/kill cannabis but not other plant life. This agent is still active even though the war ended a long time back. sounds crazy but I looked into it my 1st regrow with these nft tanks. didnt know about pythos back then as had spent years with the res cool on concrete floor. We had power cut for 2 days and all my ladies just went limp . obviously no light , pumps ect had an effect but once sorted I thought they were ok to continue on. pythos set in and I reacted with a product but way too late. i looked at why they had suddenly dropped and read about the CIA operation and how it still affects seed stocks today. trace elements being genetically in built. I wasnt too shocked that they did it just that it could still have an affect now. I know mine was pythos but meant the sudden death syndrome being a possibility if nothing else has really changed. Even over feeding would have been more obvious too. was worth waiting still. have to give them some faith. shame to lose it.

was actually wondering about over feeding. the one that keeled was behind the others and i had ramped into veg feeding levels pretty quick..

it's coming back slow. if i ran more plants it wouldn't be an issue. i have to make everyone count as it is though.

at some point it's more just plain stubborn on my part -- with some cooperation from the plant ...

i've tossed clone plants for way less. i'm sorta looking at this covid thing and thinkin i should just push everyone through to flower. this run should clear just before the main heat of summer -- i'm planning on shutting both rooms staggered for a few wks. going back to seed after.

Morning bluter.

I just took my first taste other than cleanup, and it tastes as delicious as the Zamaldelica x Panama buds smell. Terpene preservation is wonderful with a VG tincture, which makes it easy to take the larger doses. I’ll let you know later how effective it was as an intoxicant.

According to SkunkPharm the extraction efficiency of VG is only around 33%. With the second cycle we increase that saturation, but I’d be surprised if it comes out at 50%. That makes my tincture somewhere around 2 mg/ml, by my estimation, which means the dose I just took was somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 mg of THC.

My days usually run on significantly higher doses of THC than that. I’m doing this for science.

Do you add liquid sunflower lecithin? I added it to mine, and it needs throughly shaken to get all that redistributed in the mix and also changes the taste somewhat. It should enhance absorption though, so I try to add it to all my oils.

extraction rate might be a bit higher. i would love to test a thc batch to get an idea. the cbd stuff works well, but our thc tincture can be surprising. has a tendency to create rubber legs if you do too many droppers...

i find the tincture is stronger than my canna pills and weaker than my edibles. i make edibles from an infused butter/coco mix, and they can be pretty strong. reminds me of the commercial running right now with the gummie bears running mayhem ... that commercial actually makes me want edibles lol ...


i don't add lecithin. next to impossible to source here and not worth the cost. for super fast absorption i recommend heating a cup of water up, then warming the tincture slightly in the cup. hits within minutes when taken sublingual that way.

My theory comes from past experience. If you dust away the perlite from the top of the root ball where the stem/trunk meets the first roots. Does it look damaged slightly? Almost like it had some side torque put on it cause by someone reaching over it to water other plants and leaned on it little too hard, without even knowing it.

I had a mature plant get knocked around slightly. It was fairly minor yet it ended up looking like what you have. It was 8 weeks old and healthy. It looked so sad I was like "will you just die already" as I kept watering it. I did notice that it's upper roots looked torn away slightly while most were still intact. It eventually came back but was behind the rest by 6 weeks

naw the main stem is fine ... actually no stem or branch damage whatsoever...

northern lights cbd comeback kid ...

probably about as good as it gets. looks like i'm losing the one top.
still concerned about both it and the 2L tangie. neither seems to be feeding like the others are.

i'm feeding right now and they are not near as light as the other 2L hempys.

it's a canna work day and i'll post some updates on the veg girls as i go.. hope jungle patrol smuggles some pics out of the flower gals in the next two - three days as well. i'm relying on incomplete or inexperienced info, so making the calls there is bit shaky. super hate the circumstance..
