Blue Mystic In Canna Terra Pro Using Cheap LED

Talking about Doc's gear....any other Canadians having issues working Amazon.com? I am getting it all figured out as we speak, but I get this...

I ordered directly from Doc. Send him a pm and he'll get you set up.
Shipping is pretty expensive. So far including the regular kit +shipping, promix, and ewc its cost me over $300 canadian. Then I had to get the bins to cook in still. Its supposed to be cheaper than bottled nutes but I'm not seeing it.
Better grow some seriously killer bud is all....

Already talking to him....it will work out.

$140.00 usd including shipping = $190.00 cdn.
12 bags ewc at $4.99 a bag = $60.00
Promix hp about $40
Total =$290.00 cdn
My advanced nutrients ph perfect M-G-B and hobbyist grower bundle came to $180.00 shipped to my door.
I didn't mean to say over 300 I was gonna put over 200 but then just rounded up to to $300.00 and didn't back up far enough.

I am good to pull the trigger on the bulk kit soon here. Just under $300 for the bulk kit shipping in.....can't wait to see that beauty at my doorstep.
Really? 300 cdn? The price I got from him was $360.00 usd shipped to canada. That's almost $490.00 canadian then ewc (enough for 4 kits) on top.
The promix I wont even add because I'd be buying it anyway with whatever nutrient system I chose.

Maybe if you live in the US.... lol
I dont mind paying more than the bottled nutes if it works as good as it looks like it does tho.
I don't really care about the money or the return I will get....I Just wanna try and grow the highest quality organic produce I am capable of. I think this kit will allow me to do that. I also have a bunch of eager people that will be happily reaping the benefits.
That is why I am going out of my way to get some stellar genetics. Is there a cheaper option....yup....but I can't wait to see how these flowers turn out. My mind is revisiting the option to grow one plant next run....pfft! I will need to pop at least three.

*side note....Ace 5 packs are actually 6 SEEDS! Or else someone can't count very well. Cause the Kali China and Hashplant S1 are both 6...the Freebie Nepal Jam is actually 5....beautiful little catalog as well.*

I felt a little bit of the sting when I first took the plunge so I understand your concerns.
If I may, Id like to note that there are some up front costs for things like totes to cook the soil and maybe larger containers than usual. Keep in mind, these are usually one-time purchases.

Even the ProMix can be used four times. That’s enough for a years worth of growing for most of us.
The best way to do it is really to buy the bulk kit. That way you can have two different sets of soil at least. When one crop is done, you’ve got freshly cooked soil ready to go for the next.

The produce, well I think you’ll be pleased. But let experience be your guide. One thing is for sure, Doc and the Brixxers offer better customer support than most companies out there.

Cheers

Thanks, I didn't think about reusing the promix.
I'm not saying it's too much to pay, and ultimately is a better deal but almost $500.00 is alot upfront.
since I'm stuck in a 2x4 tent pretty much permanently (at least until my 12 year old is grown and gone) I can really only grow 3 plants at a time, maybe only 2 if I'm going into 10Gal or bigger pots. So one kit that is supposed to be enough for 6 plants should get me 2 or 3 grows can I just weigh the stuff out into halves or 3rds so I can rotate my soil?

What kind of EWC are you using? My Promix and EWC came to $60 total.

This stuff here.
Its only 3L bags and they were 4.99 each at the garden store. I drove to 3 stores and called a bunch more trying to find ewc. Peavy mart had the same brand for $3.99 each but sold out everywhere. Didnt know how much 3L weighed and no weight on the bag so bought a full case of 12 bags to be safe. Used 10 of them.
Got the Promix from Canadian tire and it was about $36.00

I can relate to the small grow while kids are still home. My youngest is 14 and one day my wife may let me grow in the house lol. For now I’m stuck out in the garage lol.

I would recommend cooking it all at the same time. There shouldn’t be a problem as long as it is kept between 65F and 85F( I think that’s right) @weenmeoff am I correct on the temps there?
Also you want to peek in there every couple weeks and make sure it’s moist still.

In your case, 2 or three plants in a 2x4 will allow your kit to stretch for well...
Two cycles of three plants per cooked soil, 12 weeks for veg and flower.
You won’t need your third run amendment for 48 weeks lol. After that you will get at least another 24 weeks out of the soil.

I believe some folks cut in some fresh promix and amend the soil a fourth time. If you can manage that you’ve got enough to grow for nearly two years. :thumb:

Truth is you will probably need the drenches and stuff before you need more soil and amendments.

I imagine most of the liquids in the bulk kit will last quite a while as well.....it seems to eliminate the need for a lot of other stuff as well...

I looked in at my plants last night and one appears to have calmag issues and the other is showing signs of N deficiency....yellowing/dying lower leaves. So much troubles

So, I guess the distilled water place will not deliver to me.....it is a 20 minute drive away, but I guess they won't do it. It's $2.50 for a 5 gallon refill if I can pick it up myself, but that is nearly impossible.

@Duggan How much of a compromise is it to use spring water? I know I can get that delivered from the grocery store.

Oh yea. I mean some products you may use more than others. For example, my microbial life needed waking up during my first grow and I ended up leaning heavy on Trans Drenches. I only had “the kit” and I ran out of all of the drenches by the end of the grow but so still had a little tea and some of each foliar.
Yes on the temp range Arch! Right in the middle being ideal.
