Yes. That's the benefit and drawback of BX. Great uptake but short term storage.

You could test the soil to see where your NPK and pH levels are at. That will tell you how much of what is currently in your soil.
Other than that, good light, water, air and PK should boost those buds.

So Jimmy the soil ph tester I saw at Home Depot for $20. is a good thing? Needs no batteries and almost bought it. I need to start checking run off and maybe soil too????
Monsignor I have no Idea that those Dechlor. drops are working. I guess if the plants look great then yes! Common sense says get the chlorine out of the water. A lil bit goes a long ways. Ive got curley leafs so somethings going on. I need to research and install a RO system. Great Day!!

The 2 prong soil ph probes are crap. Good for moisture testing only. And the same ones are $5 at Walmart. You need a good quality ph Pen. Like this.

Or ph strips... like this.

You can buy a ph pen like this....

but they're also crap. But they're only $4 on eBay (but take 2 months to get here) so if you buy the cheap ones, buy 4 because they lose accuracy after a few months and even constant recalibration doesn't help.

I really think you should get into testing your runoff sooner rather than later. From what I've read (and from when I had curly leaves) 99% of the time <-- *** my own made up percentage *** it is a pH problem. But I'd give it a while so you can truly identify if the chlorine tabs help or not.

Its just the clones with lockout. I just waterd them 2 days ago and could flush them now still but will wait till their thirsty and flush them good then. They want N!!! I can see it. The veg yard crop in the laundry room and my sprouts look great. A few say its a must to check run off and adjust it with lime. I will incorporate this.

I dont know how long to keep the strips in the water? Is it a quick dunk then look? The colors arent definite to see and is a guess. Thanks Jimmy!!!!!

The blue lab pen has been my best purchase yet.

Thanks Monsignor, I just did some research and it looks to be too frequent of watering maybe and some N lock out. I dont think my drainage is good in the pots. Everytime I plant I wonder if I should through rocks in the bottom like Ive seen????? Im going to go jab a pencil in the pots for more air. Im nursing the PH pen I have but will get the Blue Lab. Im not sure if the B.Lab has to be kept wet cause that broke my first pen the HM digital. I know now to store it in water. My second pen is cheap and kinda whacky but nursing it, no need to be kept wet though. Thanks!

Lmao that's not the first time I've been warned not to go over. How do I tell if it's okay to ramp up the koolbloom liquid? I'm excited about the trichome production but I do feel like my girth is underwelming. Am I right to think that or are they going to fatten up soon? We are coming to the end of week four. Am I worrying too much? I'm at 3 tsp/ gal floranova bloom, 1 tsp/gal caliMagic, and whatever the recommended is for koolbloom liquid.

They might bulk up at the end? Just follow the schedule my brother! and then youll know for next time.

You do have to keep it wet but it has a sponge in the cap. As long as you use it every couple of days it won't dry out. They sell a solution to put a couple of drops into the lid once a week if you don't use it frequently but distilled water dropped in would be just fine.

For the strips it's a quick dunk, wait one minute and look. I bought my Hanna clone on eBay or amazon. Can't remember. But I had to calibrate it when it got here.
I chose this one because it's waterproof (I "blooped" the last one) and the electrode is replaceable.

Week 5 or 6 I use the KB dry. Just make sure you use the dry exactly as it says. Any more than recommended will quickly kill your plant. But the results with KB dry are insane.

Today is the first day of week six. I'm going to water in 3 days then water 3 days after that. So in 9 days it will be time for me to do the koolbloom dry.

Since I will be wanting to begin my 2 week flush around 9 days from now, I'm assuming I just use the koolbloom dry as directed and then straight water until harvest?

Beautiful. Remember 1/4 tsp/Gal. KoolBloom directions state "Dry KoolBloom is a supplement designed for the very end of a plant's life cycle. Depending on the length of bloom time, this can be the final 1 to 3 weeks before harvest. General Hydroponics recommends discontinuing use 3 to 5 days before cut down in order to do a final flush." So if you think your buds are going to keep popping you can give it up to 3 weeks of KoolBloom. Just watch the buds and when you think the KoolBloom is no longer working then start flushing. Just keep checking those trichomes...you'll know when it's ready.
If you want to make sure it's flushed properly and good and smokable...just pinch off a nug, dry it overnight and try it out.
It should burn a clean white ash and not have any bitterness.

Looking really good.
You'll have some nice before and after photos.

Also don't panic when your plants larger leaves start turning yellow. It's normal.

The grow shop said if it needs to be stored wet just keep it in a cup of water. This is what I will do. I just got the paper PH and will get used to that too. it will be a while before another PH pen is bought. I got a good idea with the wacky one and the strips.
