Blooming question

The additional light will help the plant achieve its genetic potential of THC, also, IMHO, the plant has plenty of N, but not at toxic levels, there’s no tip burn or clawing. Continue with the FF nutes as recommended by FF. You may need to flush (3x the volume of the pot) with fresh water about the time you flip her.

Do not trust the soil probe moisture meter, they’re notoriously inaccurate! When the pot has been thoroughly watered, pick it up, note the weight, then when it’s dry, pick it up again, now you’ll know when to water.
thank you. I actually had been watering when it was light, just tried the probe for conformation. BTW .. this is an autoflower, not that it matters much. I get the impression most people grow photoperiod.

Silver Bullet (Key to Life product)
Soil Balance ( outstanding results) (Must follow directions)
Both gave increased terpenes/trichomes development BUT as mentioned genetics is that starting point everything else is "frosting"

Definitely stretching, grew 8" in 7 days. 7 day with the added bloom light. Just finished weeks 6 @20" tall..

It's done toward the end of the plant's life so you already have most of what you'll get. The drought causes the plant to increase trichromes in an effort to protect itself and the research showed it increased potency by a material amount.

But, it's not for everyone. You grow your own grow :thumb:

You do know that in flower no "N" is the way BUT as some nutrient lines say "a little "n" dosen't hurt" Now for 100 % sativa strains once in flower NO "N" period

I was in the 8th week using the 3 part FF nutes, Big bloom (0-0.5-0.7) 3 tsp, grow big(6-4-4) 2 tsp and tiger bloom(2-8-4) 2 tsp..... I eliminated the Grow Big but it still get some "N" from the tiger bloom but 1/4 of what it was getting. last week

The plant has gone from 10.5" to 27" since it started flowering, quite a bit more then my last Northern light auto (maybe all the 'N'). The light is getting closer but still ~15" away and I can't raise it anymore. How long can the stretch on auto's last? I thought it would have stopped by now.

I just read an article that said Nute schedules like the FF i'm using are meant for photoperiod and it you us them on autos you should cut it down to 1/2 or less the strength, what are your thoughts?

They also said the schedules are meant for neutral soil, the FF Ocean Forest soil i'm using probably not neutral ?

That's a good rule of thumb ! Historicaly folks say that they use only 1/2 amounts on auto's . Not ot worry about "hot" soil with FF - have used Ocean Blend with Happy Frog (50-50 mix) Never NO issues and I use nutrients full stenght at times. I f you are still on the fence use 1/4 amounts Hope this helps - Peace !

An article such as would be published in something for gardeners and growers where the author is willing to post their real name? Or an article which is a posting on a Cannabis growing forum like this one where remaining anonymous is recommended for privacy and security concerns.

Did they explain what a "neutral soil" was?
