Black African Magic

Pot size ,, at least 2.5 gal, to me it would depend on how long you intended on vegging her, I would personally stick it in a 4-5 gal and let her ripp, But opinions differ, some like to, and believe that you should up pot several times, Dixie to 1g to a 2g yutty yutty .. I start mine in a starter and then to 3gal and then to the garden 4’x4’x24 deep hole.. works great , But I m just a Lowly dirt farmer,,

I have thought about in the future doing two autos, get one about half way thru, start the other, let the light burn and just clone and keep going.
 
Won't work, of course, with auto's since the clone would be the same age as the mother and would flower at roughly the same time except with very little roots, but definitely photo's can work that way. I grow that way with a perpetual planning to harvest every 6 weeks with two plants. :thumb:

Gotcha. Man, crazy how after hearing that it makes perfect since with an auto.

I am going to give Black African Magic a go, the goal is grow them, clone them, repeat. Do that a few times, then I really want to get into autos 🤙🏻

yeah, I am literally reading and learning as I go right now. I have done a quick read on the stages, but right now I am reading on seedling and vegetation, then veg and pre flower, etc…

as soon as I read his response it made sense 🤨
 
Autos are a more challenging type to grow and they're often smaller plants with smaller yields. Is there some particular reason you fancy them?
 
Hey GP,, That is the best way to learn, read- practice,, read- practice.. experiment Hmmm seems to work?? It is a constant curve. There is a lot of great info on 420– Buuut until you put it to practice, its all just theory ,, You WILL get better and better the more you grow and grow :morenutes:Food For Thought.. FFT

Honestly just the curiosity. There are a few seeds that I have read about that seemed interesting. Seemed like it could be a fun experiment after a good stint of growing Sativa.

totally 🤙🏻 I have been reading a lot…yet still nearly killed my first two by over watering 🤨
 
Okie dokie…

I don’t remember what day it is…I’m a friggin cartoon for cry’n out loud!

Anyways…Pokey did what he did best and what a jackass today and worked taking care of the plants, lots of little adjustments with PD and OG now being in pots.

PD and OG ate in 2.5 gallon pots with Fox Farms Happy Frog and seem to be pretty happy. They weep at the end of their dark phase and reach once they start getting light. They are growing fast! Lots of wee leaves under the big leaves. Both starting to smell like basil and cannabis. Pretty beautiful.

BAM are growing really fast. 100% landrace sativa…I was told it grows extremely fast. At this point in PD and OG there was no smell. Thing 1 (the larger of the two) smells incredible. Citrus, basil, mint, and of course cannabis. Its really impressive.
