Great stuff with the gummie making! I didn't know a banana added air to compost. And for decarbing I still use the original ardent which I duct taped up the split that formed and it seems to still work fine. The Nug Smasher looks the business!

Lol I didn't know a banana could do that either lol I stuck air to the pile the banana broke down alot faster with air we sold our ardent original man I love the FX it the cats meow to and the nug smasher is the BUSINESS but EXPENSIVE!! It's an investment that's for sure

@Stunger do you have the pressing screen that goes with the ardent? We got on and saves us alot of oil in our infused flower we get about 25% more oil out of it the the screen she sells
No, mine is the original Nova version, smaller than the Flex and didn't come with any pressing screen.

Oh ok we had to buy it separately. I'm glad we got it it decarbs and infuses GREAT just the the nug smasher it hurt my wallet to get it but I'm glad I did it makes better oil than I could get from the dispensary I've compared just like my bud it's just as good of not better than the dispensary w/I all the crap in it I don't care what they try to say you CAN'T flush out all those heavy metals in plant tissue

We've had the FX about 3.5 years now and had the original about a year before that made life Alot easier

The Flex is quite expensive, my brother bought one and loves it after he over worked his original and it stopped working. I'm trying to make my original last so I don't have to splash out on the Flex!

I heard that, that kinda coin is hard to spend but it was worth it same with that nug smasher but again I'm glad I got it ALOT LESS goes to compost now and I have more time to focus on the grow to try and make it more sustainable

I've tried the crockpot, the oven, for decarb and the cheese cloth for straining to much of a waste of money on lost oil or butter we went from 3/4 cup of oil or butter to over 2/3 cup return on butter or oil with the press
and time getting all the stuff together and cleaning it afterwards and with inconsistent batchs that's no good same with the smasher tried the bubble bags then the butune crap and the alcohol way alot of work and same thing inconsistent in batches at least with the right equipment it's repeatable and the consistency is there just more cost upfront just like grow equipment

A press sounds great, but anything 420 related can be a right royal pain to import into my country, because if it gets seized it is a real gut punch that makes you think twice on whether to chance it again.

The other thing is, I currently only grow outdoors once a year. I think a press is great for indoor growers who will have a constant harvest of fresh buds to squash. But I don't know if in my case, whether I can still squash buds that have been jarred for months without losing/wasting any.

I squash mine that sits around for awhile that picture was about 1/4 oz of outdoor bud from Oct and it's just fine you are squeezing the oil right out of it literally but it might lose a little in quantity but I would think quality is the same mine is strong although I haven't tested t

And it tastes as good if not better than the dispensary. Check out trim leaf they might deliver to you and I can't see where custom's would confiscate some like the press but I don't know your import laws
Having a product named "Nug Smasher" would be a big red light when importing into a 420 banned country.
