You know if you got like soaker hoses and a good layer of wood chips on your soil worms and cacoons are ok I used to mulch like to that but I get lazy sometimes lol so I don't always keep a sufficient mulch layer down that's why I prefer to put my worms and cacoons back in the bin I don't want anyone thinking I'm dissing the way they do it!@Hayron1088 here's how I screen my castings some folks here have a better more efficient way but this is how I do it for now the square one is a 1/8" metal screen and the store bought round is 1/4" If they are to damp to screen through the 1/8" screen make sure all the worms are back home and let it sit out till it'll screen what's left over in the that won't go through I put back in the bin Id rather have my cacoons in the bin they have more of a chance to hatch there are certain conditions where cacoons can hatch it's hard to keep that in a container or a bed that's all I'm saying
