Do you check ph of your water when feeding and watering in promix ? u are using tap water or ro ?

I jave horrible water i use spring and use ph up and down to adjust i test once before and test the run off after if i seriously recommend you checking your water before feeding it tap.

I'm using tap tap water-that being said the tap water we have here is essentially spring water that comes out around 50 ppm and 5.9 ph so it's really not fair to compare that to "tap" water if you know what I mean
Anyways I always ph my water going in but I'm using strips and drops so I really have no clue what I'm putting in there, just an estimate! So far the microbes have done a good job getting nutes up to the plant but I'm looking into some fulvics/humics to increase uptake for me .

12 01 17 am update!
Good morning! Got caught up on a couple of journals but I'm out and about today getting some stuff together in preparation for next week! Hope everyone has an awesome Friday, it's the weekend kiddos! Sorry to those who work weekends :/ just keep in mind it's less busy in town on your days off and thats a plus? Lol Afghan haze for the sesh this morning
Clones day 9? are happy lol bit more fade but it's not speeding up so we're good, they should make it :3
Salt Day 09 I swear I'm skipping days on my counts XD will be getting a clipboard to hang at each tent for easy note keeping .

Man I hope she lives up to my expectations .
Just some group shots n leaf shots, a bic shot too XD
These lights are totally overkill XD can't wait for the next run, I already know how to make this technique better and cleaner.
flip day :3 ima give them a nice big feed when I get back from running around! We're gunna pull back a bit on the grow and hittem with some extra bloom and then change the timer tonight, they are getting nice and dry so they should uptake those nutes throughout the night and with the light and pk change, send some crazy chemicals all over the place saying "it's finally time"
In a week we start carb loading and playing with massive bloom :3 hell yes my people, finally! cheers guys smoking one for the homies this morning! I'll connect soon folks! . . .

Yea for soil I totally recommend checking run off ph because it takes a lot longer to correct if something goes wonky! Super important to be diligent about keeping it at range
I'm basically running hydro so it's the same here, but if I mess up they'll show me right away and I can fix it right away, different mediums require different care .

Naw man to me it sounds like your taking good care of those ladies .
I'm glad your enjoying it so much man! I definitely love the shit out of these plants and it's always nice to see other people experiencing that same kind of joy!
It's funny that you say that about checking pH runoff in soil, because my experience is that pH in = pH out in soil (±). My soil runs around 7.0 (slurry test) and it stays that way throughout the entire grow even though my nutes go in and out in the 6.2-6.5 range. I don't bother to test pH on runoff, only PPM runoff and even then only pretty deep into flower.

Usually soil tends to change ph over the course of the grow but I know dolomite lime can help a lot with that! In my case my soil ph was off for a while n it messed with my grow a lot, if I had the means to check ph back then it would've saved a lot of trouble but I didn't wanna get into it for just a hobby grow lol
Just.my experience and what I would recommend any new growers do until they get a feel for the medium and the grow cycle

I'm on data otherwise I'd pull up links,
Google tds and check Amazon for a tds meter and calibration fluid, it's a must if your serious about growing .
It's fine to check your soil pH, but the way to check your soil pH is with a slurry test, not by checking nute runoff.
