Once you think you’re very close or there, chop a little bud off and scope it sitting at a table. It’s much easier than dealing with the whole plant. If it looks good then take your plants down. If you’re not sure, give it a few days, smoke it.. then chop

Glad I read your last comment, cuz I looked at the sugar leaves and they are coated. Some cloudy, but a few amber ones. Can some finish Early?

nah, typically they finish late. Don’t worry about the sugar leaves. The calyxes are what matters.

Flower day 35
Some leaves starting to turn purple. More yellow leaves. Fed straight water after 2 days. Going to do that from now on. They seem to be using more and faster. Bio bud is getting full dose. The bloom gets half dose still. I'm shutting down the nutes, end of this week I think that will be 2 weeks before harvest. Hopefully.

I really wouldn’t stop nutrients for 2 weeks. You can run into all kinds of problems. Their water intake will slow way down without proper nutrition and then your buds won’t bulk and harden as much as they could. You said your plants are yellowing? That’s a sign they need more nutrients not less.

....and youre still fucking the ratio up on the nutrients. Why am I giving you advice if you don’t follow it? That’s probably the cause of the yellowing... improper nutrient ratios

Your plants look farther than 2 weeks to me.. I don’t see a single orange pistil... all white still.

1 gallon per pot 14 pots.
Cut down the trellis and moved the plants under the lights since they are smaller
Trimmed out shade leaves
Water every 3 days
Stopped bio bloom per manufacturer
Using 5 ml of bio bud and 2.5 ml cal mag
Lights are at 8" to 18"
Temps 75°
Humidity 44%
Buds are shaping up. Can't wait

I just love sharing
Fed this morning 3/4 gal per pot.
Nutes half strength still. Last week of bio bud per manufacturer.
I will definitely upgrade next grow to exchange air faster and add an extra carbon filter.
Lights at 12-18"

Just water. Flushing per manufacturer, but a week earlier. 10 days instead if 7.
Mostly cloudy 70-80% on some. 50% on the rest.
Bought 20$ florescent light for closet adjacent to the room and tent. Going to start new stuff. Buds are tight. Expect a 1lb of straight up fire.
Decision to take them early cloudy or later more amber. I'm not a big body buzz guy. I like the head stuff.

Nice brother. Try to get as close to 100% cloudy as you can with minimal amber for your heady weed. Typically things go cloudy faster than they amber by a lot. But, if you start to notice a lot more amber each day. Chop her down

I’ll tell you this as well. If you move your lights up more, your buds would probably be colored up. You should check out Pigeons420 and mrcanuk on YouTube. They use similar lights to yours, notice the distances they keep their flowering plants from the lights. Beautiful nugs from both guys.

Thanks man. I know you can't tell by the pictures but the buds are a lot more colorful than they appear. The manufacturer for next light recommends 12 to 24 for flower. I couldn't wait and I clipped off a couple under buds and a couple colas that were hidden and very low on the plant. I should actually have cut them out a while ago. Been learning a lot. Nearly 100% cloudy a few starting to turn amber, had to find though. This week I anticipate chop. Feeding tomorrow 3 days then hopefully something is done.
I've heard going dark for 2 days.

They say a 24-36hr dark period can increase total resin content by 20-30%. Ive tried it a few times, but I haven’t noticed a difference between that and just chopping right at lights on.

So this is what happened. Found a few seeds on 4 plants. I chopped them.
I suspect either stressed herme, or pollenated them from outside.

Noticed foxtailing growth.
Without nutes lights just too much.
They were growing fat with the bio bud and bloom.
Lights are back to 18-24"
Switched daylight schedule to 14 hours darkness.

Flower day 51. Noticed two more plants attempting to herme. Chopped them. 8 left. Letting them finish. They look ok so far. New protocols being drawn up. Next grow underway.

Supposed to be all headband, but some got mixed in there. I think Alaskan thunderfck and sweet amnesia. Not 100% positive

I wish I could point my finger to why some seeds appeared on the foxtails.
