lol i was joking bout that and honestly i love what the cfl can do they have proven their effectiveness, im putting together a veg/mom/clone area very soon with my cfl's sorry brother but i need them still, nothing beats them for veg imho, i believe you will have a big light soon if that is your desire,,i did not decide for sure till a month or 2 ago that for sure i wanted an hps, and i hunted and researched endlessly for me its important not only to get a lite but a good light at a great value because im on a tight tight budget, and the gods smiled on me and my gf/goddess spiffy got the one i had in my watch-list otherwise i would still be hunting and saving, the stars truly aligned for me! i believe the universe answered my request by putting it all together, timing was miraculous and the money was unexpected and came out of thin air! magic is real my friend, my cfl's are all from home d and wally's, but i would and will send them to you as soon as i get a mh veg light or a pro florescent fixture, and with this magical universe it could be any unexpected day

Hey bro i've been using T8 6500k FLO tubes and growth has been magical, iv been trying to get my hands on a T5 Bad boy have read brilliant things about them but they are only in the USA... Like all good shit huh! I rate Flo tubes massivly for vegative growth can sit them very close, lighter on the electric bills and so easy to regulate temps in your area.

Check out this journal strickly T5 Badboy grow, although i prefer HPS for flower his veggies are 5*. Growth is mad thick!

I'm still on the fence on whether I am going to go with the t5's or the MH. If money were not an issue what would you guys go with? I am leaning toward a 600w Metal Halide but I see stuff like his link up there and i wonder what the best way to go is. I like that MH is way cheaper all the way around for sure, but what do you guys like? Oh and one other thing, why can't I use my wife's stand up tanning system? This thing is bad a$$ but I have never seen anyone talk about using them. This is probably a noob topic but I was just curious.

for documentation, watering/feeding currently bpn 2 part blue max + bloom booster: 18ml bloom,8ml grow, 2ml liquid blue.12.5 ml lemon juice (for ph thanks for the tip corey) per gallon ppm 1080, ph 5.7 i will post some pics later today or tomorrow

well shit it never ends!!!! i have good and more bad news, the good it after almost a week i see some noticeable improvement lots f new growth and trichs one plant is at least an inch taller, like it started stretching again, the bad news..... the damn light is dead!!!! i must have gotten a bad ballast, it got a lil hot and shut off due to the overheat protection circut now it tries to fire up but the ballast starts shutting off and you can hear it clicking inside, son of a biscut eater!!!! im so pissed, i had to scramble and get the old lights back up, thank god it is under warranty even return shipping!!, but gotta do the rma thing,, i swear i have the ugliest most stressed out plants in existence!! im done with this day! im going to bed, pics tomorrow

Massive Diy fan except for pumps, light bulbs,and the hardware, every thing i have is recycled.

dude I am so so sorry to hear about your light bro!!! I know how that feeling is!!! you sit there and think, "WHAT THE HELL ELSE CAN GO WRONG TODAY?!?!?" and then there it is!!!
