I just wanted to update you guys on the creme de la chems . I just got home from work and looked into the tent to find we have 4/7 sprouts so far . I'm sure I'll have the rest pop up with a day or two .

I'll look into creating a separate journal once we have a total head count on the girls .

I've also been thinking how necessary it is to be using five gallon pots for my autos that run about 70 days roughly. I wonder if I could use 3 gallon pots instead.

Just wondering how much of a 5 gallon autos will use in 65 to 70 days . I'll stick with 5 gal for now though

Autos grow a long single tap root, the more space for the root to grow down the bigger the plant. Autos benefit from a tall pot more than a wide one.

That's great to know. These ones are still 10 inch tall. I got the vivosun ones budzz recommended. There are quality and were super cheap. But they take 3 gal of water in a plastic bag. They are huge.

I'll have to stock up on the tall square pots then . The ones I have are roughy 22 inches tall .

Yea my hydro shop carries all sorts of cool shit . Those pots are 5.75 a piece without drip plates though . Check out Nobel farms on Amazon DD for bigger square pots .
