Saturday update:

God I love growing this plant! Four weeks old and putting it n some serious growth!

First up, Canuck Seeds Blueberry fem photo. Nice little plant, very indica growth so far. I’ll give her a little longer and then top and try my hand at cloning the top. My plan is to grow her out as a mother and fill the tent with a bunch of clones of in a couple of months, may as well start practicing cloning now.

Cherry Wine by Alter Farms. There are bag seeds from a quarter ounce I bought at a CBD store locally. Happy little plants so far. We shall see what happens when I set them to bloom. Hoping for at least one girl, but one never knows.

Dark Devil Auto by Sweet Seeds. Holy shit!!!! These girls are tall! Also lanky. I’m used to growing more indica phenotypes, so this growth just looks weird to my eye. I’m regretting not topping them, but they are well into bloom already, so I don’t want to stunt them by topping now. I see a lot of super cropping in their future

And last is Super Lemon Haze Auto by Canuck Seeds. What a pretty plant! Great little tree, nice side branching, and vigorous growth. If the effect is good, I may have to order a bunch of these.

And to end this weeks episode, a group shot! By seeing them side by side, you can easily tell I have three Sativa dominant plants in this batch.

And last is Super Lemon Haze Auto by Canuck Seeds. What a pretty plant! Great little tree, nice side branching, and vigorous growth. If the effect is good, I may have to order a bunch of these.

It really is - I’m sold! When I next have an opportunity this one is first on my list (I took a screenshot for the files )

You will be, with much higher tech than I. The water cooled system you’re working on is so far beyond my skill set that I don’t understand half of what you post. But it’s neat to watch you build it.

That's the problem. I always get way too deep than I need to be. But that's part of progress and learning, to fail sometimes.

Glad to hear you like my projects. We will se if this is possible. Got hold of a bigger pump today. It gives 4 times the amount the old one gives. Don't know if it works yet but I will find out.

Week five:

Tent is filling up quickly. The Dark devil autos are tall and lanky, had to super crop one, and she rebounded just as tall, so had to bend her again lower down the stem. Also had to bend over the top of the Super Lemon haze. The DDAs and the SLH should be done by the end of October, leaving more room for the Blueberry and the Cherry Wine. Once the autos are done, I’m going to flip the tent to 12/12 for the photos.

Man, I really wish I could set up a larger tent. *sigh*


I’ve got a small space that I’ll run for veg, hopefully keeping a blueberry going. Right now there are three cutting in this space that I’m hoping will root.

Saturday update...on a Saturday!!!!

Opened up the tent today to find out that the Super Lemon Haze has grown up into my main light. She scoffed at my attempt at supercropping and just kept growing up! I need to figure out a solution to her height problem today. I can’t take my lights up much more by hanging them, but I may be able to rearrange everything so that my lights go up a couple more inches. I’m at six weeks, figure she has another four or five weeks to go. She’s just now starting to put out some blossoms. She’s a little droopy in this pic, she’s drinking like a fish, and is the only one of the five to need to be watered/fed today.

Dark Devil Autos are blooming machines. Ugly as sin, but they really are blooming up a storm. The one I supercropped has behaved and is putting on weight nicely. The other is also behaving. Both seem on target to harvest in another two to three weeks.

The two Cherry Wine CBD plants are happy squaty things. Which is a good thing. I can’t handle runaway growth in my tent right now. Topped them both, and will up can them in a bit.

Blueberry is chugging along. She’s doing a bit poorly because of being in the shade of the SLH, but not a lot to be done about that right now. She will also get up canned today.

Gave all the girls a trim and will be stacking them back into the tent after the three photos get new pots.

To give you an idea of how crowded the tent is, here is a group shot on the girls sitting on a 2x3 foot coffee table. The tent is only 2x2.

Question: how do you resist the urge to dig up cuttings to see if they have rooted yet? It’s been nine days and I want to know what’s going on under the perlite!!!!

Cutting look good. No evidence of rot, which is what I’m mainly worried about. The cuttings are bagged and very warm. But they seem to be doing well. All three cuttings are still green. I’ve got a tinge of yellowing in one, but it was the top an has plenty of green leaves left on it, so I’m not worried.

I did a silly thing and keep cuttings of the Cherry Wine from Saturday. Those are just crammed together into a coffee cup with some water with weak nutes. Not covered, but they still seem to be alive. Here’s the silly part - they are regulars, sex unknown, and I mixed the cuttings from both plants. Doh! I’ll find out eventually whether I have boys or girls, or both. I suppose I can pot all the cuttings up and put them under 12/12, and then cull. I should have kept them separate and labeled, but it was a last minute decision to even try to root them.

Not that I need 20 clones of Cherry Wine, but it’s all a grand experiment. Lol

I don’t know about the timing, I’ve seen people get roots anywhere from a week to a month
SweetSue is the queen for hempy clones using the bag method ... maybe check with her - or I could just call her out here... see if she sees the message @SweetSue
