BF LSD 5 Plant Coco Spring 18

hey gr did a quick run through your journal subbed in for the flowers i can tell you've been growing a while nice and healthy rite up till the end good job i grow in soil organic los but i always like watching growers grow,my son is doing dwc and something i think he called it champ i don't no if thats rite its a pot full of hydrons those clay balls and then theres a res and it feeds the plant so many times a day I'm not sure and he grows in soil so he is busy,I'm not one of those yield guys I'm out for the potency and high,but he grew a sour bubbly from mephisto and got 7 3/4 zips i have some of that bud to try after it cures a few weeks,you have a good evening gr!

Thanks my friend, looking forward to your input. Have visions of a 50 gallon outdoor/greenhouse Organic grow, but in this state that is not possible.
Just got done catching up on your journal and hope to pick up some info on organic growing, did a FFOP yrs ago, just could not get the weight I need to make Cannabis Oil, was a fun grow though.

Yes defiantly bigger yields, and growing in coco, I am able to achieve very decent fragrance and taste. Not sure what it is, nute program, lights, environment or whatever. I gave three LSD plants, three different pheno's to a friend who grows DWC and we harvest about the same time. G/F and I made a day trip up there to have a sit down with them. Not sure what he did, but the buds were loose and airy, not much fragrance or taste and the quality between the two was amazing. Very little buzz off his, then we smoke a fat one of my LSD and he could not get over the difference. All 5 of my pheno's are quality. I know I'm not switching to DWC.

I've sent samples of my grows to my Bud in NM and he called last night to comment on my last few grows. Over the past year I had sent him Super Citrus Haze, G13 Haze and the LSD. He said he opened the jar of SCH last night an said the rooms just filled with the fragrance, smoked a big bowl. Later he opened the G13 and said it did the same thing, smoked a big bowl. Then just before he called me he opened the LSD and was so impressed with the three different fragrances and taste.
He must be nursing that SCH, it is good, but I gave him a good fat zip in mid 2017, then the G13, gave him a lot more as that was a very productive grow, and the LSD it was lighter crop so he got a slightly smaller jar. He does live close to CO so he goes there an a regular bases and he'll send me tidbits from there which is a treat.
My G/F will be in the living room and I can open a jar in the storeroom and she will holler out, "what strain is that" LOL

thats funny what strain is that,my wife doesn't partake but is not in the least bothered by me toking all day long when i breakout something stincky she goes weeu that one stinks and i laugh,i have a couple friends i share with and they like it they don't grow so i help them out they don't smoke much so they don't need much, sounds like some strains i would like to grow lol when i grow the hundred or so seeds i already have,i ordered some hso black dog last week and then yesterday i was on green point and they had something called iron horse its a kosher kush x chem 30.00 for 10 regs couldn't pass it up kosher wish is one I've wanted to grow and i for sure want to grow some chems,also have some do si do x chem regs so i have plenty of stock and I'm always looking for that one lol!
 
Day 38 12/12

Wanted to give a little update on changes made to the 4 x 4 today.

I did this a couple of grows ago, using both LED and a single 315W CMH. This grow I just added the
CLW SS400 LED between the two 315W.
I moved the 315's to the sides of the tent and tilted them about 30% and placed the SS400 in the middle. I will be rotating the plants on a daily or every two day basis. Did this setup with the Super Citrus Haze and WW grow in 16/17 only used just one 315W.

Here is the setup now, light height is for both 315's at average 18 with the tilt, and the LED is at 20 inches.

I will run this for the final 3.5 to 4 weeks and will be turning the two UV lamps that are part of the SS400 setup in a week. Have to make some structural changes in the tent to get the LED to hang properly over the plants, but not a major issue.

They were winter/spring 17 Super Citrus Haze and WW, spring/summer 17 G13 Haze and one CK (that bitch did not make was about half ready when the G13 was done, harvested and added to FECO). Then fall/winter 17/18 the LSD and now have the clones of LSD to finish.
All three have great fragrance but I would say the SDH is the best, followed by the LSD and then the G13 Haze.
When this grow is complete I will be taking about a month to do some traveling but will have the LSD pheno #5 that is in monster crop veg at present and will go into flower when I return from my travels.
The plan following the completion of the Monster Crop grow I will be doing a 5 plant vertical grow with Big Buddha Cheese and one CBD plant. Friend just sent me some seeds from a plant he and his partner grow, have not had it tested but is high in CBD, says the it produces beautiful big trichome covered plant with very nice fragrance that will not get you high at all. This is his quote on the plant " It's a strain I stumbled upon a cross between a pineapple express auto and a unknown Hawaiian strain, (I think is was the 90 day wonder male) Long story short insane pure sativa look that's thick with frost but won't get you high. It's what I'd call a semi-auto. My outdoor plants (and my friends) started to flower July 8th 70 days after planting the seed. It's a 9 to 10 week flower period. "
They have been making FECO (Full (Plant) Extract Cannabis Oil) for a client with MS and report great response from it. They also have a client that has hormone driven breast cancer so she cannot use high THC oil but with this oil her tumors have shrunk to half their size in 4 months. So I have high hope for it. I will be taking cuttings during veg to hopefully do a tents worth after the Buddha Cheese run. Would like to turn this into around 100 plus grams of FECO.

I ve been looking at your hole journal and I m impressed! Your plants received very good training. The buds are fattening so well! I was feeling very relaxed in my grow but seeing yours makes me feel concerned bout the fact maybe something is going wrong in my grow. I don't know why cause I ve been very cautious except a foliar feeding stuff. This pictures were taken on day 35 of 12.45/11.15 :

As you can see she s recovered so well of supercropping bigger branches

As you can see the buds look like children compared to yours at the same stage. I know 12 hours and 45 minutes of lights and 11 hours and 15 minutes darkness may add extra time to flowering, but I don't think there is a huge visible difference on the buds. Blue dream is well known to produce nice big buds. What do you think about it?

I m growing in biocanna soil with more than 20L pots, 4x600w bright full spectrum leds + 1x300w (to give the canopy around 70000 lux), temps at the base of the plant 20 degrees and 27 at top canopy (Celsius) , colder at night is 18 degrees,...... Don't see why it s not getting bigger

It s like your plants were flowering twice faster!

Is your trunk planted in a rockwool? (I know it promotes bigger roots bigger branches so bigger buds)

Looks like you have a Mag issue, and probably Cal and Mag. I would definitely increase the Mag, I do this by adding 1 gram or 0.25 tsp of Epsom per gallon of water and 1 + ml Cal/Magic. That deficiency will cause slower growth. I know very little about growing in soil indoors.
What is your feed schedule?

And I have never heard of RW promoting roots and branching. One of the factors that promote trunk size is having a fan blowing on the seedlings or clones 24/7. Depending on the strain I may use Silica to promote stem strength.

I don't think I have cal mag issue. In soil it s harder to have than coco. The reason for the burnt leaves is foliar spraying with a mix of biocanna bioboost + terpinator. I used half of the recommended dosage of bioboost but full dosage of terpinator. I did spray once a day and under lights on. This lead to that burn. I stopped doing it as before that my leaves were shinning and look perfect.

I m feeding with recommanded dosage of advanced nutrients connoisseur a & b + rhizotonic + bioboost + terpinator.
During my first grow I had done overfeeding so learnt from my mistakes. The foliar feeding was my only mistake in this grow as I really did my best to do everything perfectly

Next grow will be in rockwool + soil. I saw videos of grow pot cheaply and others videos showing how with big roots you get big trunks and all of this happen easily in rockwool! I find soil easier than coco and Hydro so I ll do it like the grow pot cheaply guy. I have the links of the videos in my grow journal

Regarding light schedule I m on 12.45/11.15 (wanted to try if It really increases yields)

Anyway thank you for your help very useful. I ll be patient and wait for them to grow and finish taking the time they need

It cost to grow good pot, but not as much as it does to buy it and you get a better product.

Again, I gave you my best answer, considering I don't grow in soil.

i just saw this, i have to say your a man with a plan I'm a planner to thats a good thing you got some interesting strains going here i like the high cb plant for oil i might have to try a cbd grow and learn the oil way rite now all i need a little help with is sleeping I've been making butter from my indica stock and it works well but I'm eating a brownie every night it would be easier and less calories to have a capsule,good luck with your venture ill be watching and learning lol have a good one!
