Best 3x3 grow space LED

Thats a load of shit. Who's light is Mars Hydro copying? I can show you the exact light Budget is for just about every one of their offerings.

You’re missing my point entirely. Mars Hydro and Budget LED and every other company all use the same technology in square or rectangular shapes. All light is electromagnetic fields which has a field strength that drops as 1/r2, or more known to growers as inverse square law. They have nothing innovative. Except how they place their boards which is not innovative. Its purely plug and play, thats how they all are.

Diodes have an angular divergence, which sets the strength and how far the light reaches. Anyone can make a DIY board and have it be just as good as a high end market board.

If they want to innovate, do something no one else has done before, and publish results showing the improvements over others.

So how is it Budget is innovating again? If it's Black Dog they are trying to copy they are doing a shitty job. Their lights look nothing like Black Dog and exactly like alibaba.com.

We can't all drive Cadillacs bro. SOme of us get a shit ton done in rusty Chevy's.

My suggestion is a TS 2000 @Mosaicmind9x . Good luck! :yahoo:

While I don’t want to sound negative, she never pointed out any specs on the UV diode they include. So until I see specs not just “We include a UV diode” that tells me absolutely nothing, and leaves the reader to speculate and make assumptions with no factual basis. Kinda miss-leading to be honest.

Will a "UV diode" look sort of bluish purple, like a ReptiSun 10.0 fluorescent tube? IF so... I just fired up an SP150 and didn"t see anything like that. Looked like white, yellowish white, ad a few reds. Now I'm probably going to see spots for qn hour. Things I do i the pursuit of science, lmfao.

Actually, that was pretty unscientific, I sppose. I was sort of looking for a couple of diodes that appeared ti be really dim. Didn
t see any. Again, thoygh, that's pretty unscientific. And... painfyl. Need to remember to grab something to use as a light shield next time I do something as stupid as look at the business end of an operating LED fixxture from 12" away. Doh!

It comes down to the one thing. More chips @ less power per chip is quantum board. Which argues a more even spatial amplitude of light.

LEDs or non QB use low amount of chips at high power, but often use lenses to refocus the light because the divergence is often massive. The refocusing redistributes and evens out the spatial amplitude to match QBs

2 sp-150's would also rock that space too.

Turn the brightness down TS

Sigh, I already said they weren’t in innovating smh. Your comparison is right, Budget is like the Chevy and Black dog is the Cadillac. Both get you to the same place but different reactions from the outside world.

And budget simply copied the idea, their spectrum lol. Not the exact mechanical design because thats a waste of money and time and gain nothing. So it would make the most logical sense as a company to make it different.

So the SP and TS series of lights brand of Mars would be LED not QB?

Both QB and “LED” use LEDs. Its a marketing term and I’d call Mars Hydro a Quantum Board rather than an LED board personally as they use no lenses to refocus. But thats marketing end of the day.

Well then they are not innovative and SLOW, because I bought that board a year before they offered it.

:rofl:Technically everyone making LED grow lights is behind and slow. Nasa has been doing this for 20 years since the galium nitride blue diode was made. None of them are innovative and all are 20 years behind real scientists.

He's got a 3'x3', my SP 250 is about 42" wide. TS series FTW
The Sp-150 is only 23.5 inches long and costs like $135ish without discount. Wouldnt 2 be better then one TSW-2000? Considering the SP has the better driver as well?
