Bell Syphon - Flood And Drain System

So I brought a different brand of nutrients i was using growright and budright but from past experience collars don't get very big with those nutrients so im trying Cyco Platinum range ,let's see if this makes any difference.
I've just changed the reservoir nutrients over to this stuff to finish off flowering. :passitleft:

My mate loves that shit!! 🤣
This will be my first time using this brand ,hopefully your mates onto it 😁
I've always used grow right and bud right but I'm not that impressed with it anymore time for a change it will be interesting to see if it has an effect on the rest of the flowering.

Is this for the flood and drain or the soil plants? I feel like I read that urea and ammoniacal nitrogen needed microbes to be converted to a useable form by the plants, and that nitrate N was best for hydroponics. That label actually says "hydroponic use only" so that's weird! Maybe it's just to get the iron in there.

If anyone's interested in the best N for hydro, here's some info:
"After doing a study with several concentrations of Urea and Nitrate -both by themselves and combined – this research group found out that Urea does not improve crop yields in NFT systems and indeed pure nitrate does the best job when no media is in place."

Its for my hydro with clay balls 👍

Just re potted the seedling on the top left its tap root was 8 inches through the bottom of the SIP cup 😳 thought i better do it before it gets too thick and I can't remove it from pot without breaking it .
Let's see how it goes

Ready for liftoff!
Hopefully its a female these seeds are a mystery i lost track of what they were.
And on another note you mustn't sleep much you always seem to be up 🤣

Less of a mystery than the ones in the envelope that I got!

It's 5:45pm here! I'm still at work. ⏲️
10:47am here .
Those seeds were ones I tried to germinate 2 years ago and have been sitting on a grodan block on the windowsill all that time ,I dropped them in a cup of water for 5 days just too see and give them one last chance and out of 8 6 popped up 😳 so let's see what they do .

Try keeping them at 12/12 for ten days then revert back to 18/6. They should show sex in about 30 days.
That's the plan 😉 they are under 18 hrs at the moment and as soon as spring gets a bit closer I'm putting them outside which will trigger gender then they can stay outside they will revert back to veg .
