BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Outdoor Grow 2019: White Widow, Northern Lights & CBD Lemon Potion

Pizza party update! First things first - had to relocate the girls to the shed:

It was a little tricky getting them into the shed and through the low ceiling doorway. They were almost 2 ft above the doorway!

We had about a dozen guests and I made 15 pizzas that day. Was a little bit of a hot day at 90F and manning the 675F grill for a couple hours. Here's some of the pizzas. The guests liked a heavily loaded pizza - personally I prefer more of the minimalist toppings, but being the good host that I am, I let the guests have what they wanted. One of the guests is vegan so we even made one without cheese. :)

Oh yeah, Gas grill.
Que bonita! Love the creative toppings.

But those are thoroughly Cali pies. Can't help but think of my ol' grad skool roomies from Joisey whose reaction would be this: :eek::eek::eek::eek:. One of 'em wouldn't even go inside a pizza place if it had toppings!...no kidding.

Yes, I have to agree. Not your classic east coast pie. If I was making just for myself, I'd pretty much keep it simple like a schmear of sauce, some fresh mozzerella, tomato, and basil from the garden.

Looks like I made it in time for the grand finale.
Looks outstanding... I'm going to tag along if you don't mind.

:welcome: Great to have you join us!

Yep, as cook committed to inventiveness rather than any sort of tradition, I use lotsa garden produce as toppings. My daughter used to call 'em "salad pizzas." (and I think of my Joizey buds evertime I make 'em).

True story about how crazy pizza people can be: More than a decade ago, a food writer for the Chicago Trib wrote a book about pizza in which he noted that he vastly preferred thin crust east coast pizza over thick crust Chi-style pizza (which my Joizey buddies called, "a fuckin bread bowl, not a pie.") The writer had to move because he got so many death threats!

Sorry for the derail & back to grow tales!

Upward & onward!

You can make pizza for me anytime!

This past weekend I used a blend of Buffalo Mozzarella and low moisture, light sauce. Some were pepperoni and some cheese. I made a special called Buffalo Chicken Pizza, nothing short of amazing that one. My wife found a recipe for the BC Dip, I grabbed a couple scoops of fresh dip and heaped it up on the dough. Thin crust and 8 minutes at 500 on the pizza stone.

White Widow & Northern Lights Update:
The plants are cruising along, buds are filling in and thickening nicely. During last weekend's moving activities, NL suffered a branch split, but should be fine now that it's taped up for support. So far still no sign of caterpillars, but I'm sure they will show up any day now.

Does it smell of anything yet. Mine had an intense mango thing going on that got more and more piney as things went on. Full on pine-mango at the end.
WW is definitely getting more fragrant each day - a beautiful fruity smell more like cantaloupe melon to me, but could also be a mango vibe as well.

Here's NL:

I hope you all have a great weekend!

Looks great!
Gorgeous and huge! I'm so glad you have a small army to help trim, as well as new equipment :).
Unbelievable! :thedoubletake:
Looking fan-friggin-tastic Luiz! Great work - to you and @Liquidintel :bravo:
Thank you so much everyone! :green_heart:
Any particular smell coming off them? ...the WW i grew had strong mango and pine that came on around this stage.
Yes indeed! I'm getting a strong cantaloupe melon aroma right now and if I close my eyes and imagine mango, I can understand that vibe as well. The pine is very faint, but certainly there as well. :p
