BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Outdoor Grow 2019: White Widow, Northern Lights & CBD Lemon Potion

At the beginning of this journal I said I was only growing 3 plants this season. Well, that wasn't quite accurate. :thedoubletake: Back in January, out of winter boredom we dropped 5 bagseeds (maybe Trainwreck or Stephen Hawking Kush) and 1 Sour Diesel seed. That 7 ft SD plant produced one single seed last year!
Anyway, we just started them to learn and practice until we were ready for our actual grow this spring. Having not started from seed before, we were happy to get 100% germination. We tried various topping methods to see the effect and even an LST attempt. Long story short, 2 ended up being male and were tossed, and we gave one female to a friend. That leaves us with one Sour Diesel and one Bagseed.

Edit: I miss labeled them day 57 flower... actually day 57 flip.

These stayed indoor for about 8 weeks, and then moved outside full time on the first day of Spring (approx 12/12 light cycle). Within a couple weeks pistils began to show. So far, they both seem to continue their flowering - no sign of reveg yet. With the light schedule approx 14/10 I'm wondering if these will eventually revert to veg -- we'll see. :nerd-with-glasses:

The wife was kinda ok with me violating the "3 plant maximum" rule since these will stay in their small 2 gal (maybe 3 gal) pots and if they stay in flower, should be ready to harvest in July.

Well these are my "lab rats", so whatever happens to them, is "for science". :nerd-with-glasses:

You may get lucking but I have a funny feeling they'll reveg.
Yeah, I'm also guessing that they'll reveg. But you'll see & science will march on, regardless!;)

So, about a day's worth...;)?
 That sounds about right. Maybe 2 if I hide them well. Lol
There's a talent that helps cover some of the rent :).
Hahah I do what I can!

As @BeezLuiz mentioned, we never started a plant from seed, only clone. being able to do so in the name of science and experimentation was extremely helpful! I'd view other 420mag journals and posts regarding telling the difference between a male and female plants, and after awhile I felt i got decent at it. But actually doing it ourself, for me really made it click! We learned alot and were able to set ourself up nicely for popping our WW, LP, and NL. Gotta love knowledge!:yummy:

Just a thought: that sour D is so far along that it wouldn't be hard to finish flowering by moving it into the dark for a few hours a day, especially since it's in mobile pot.

If it reveg's I'm guessing it's gonna be a beastess, like mom.

Could still continue the experiment with the bagseed.

Unsurprisingly, they all look great! Grow on!

That's an interesting idea. I'm not sure I'll be diligent enough to remember to do that every day, but it's certainly something to consider. I guess for now, I'll be keeping a close eye on it for signs of reveg.

GT, great to have you join us! :welcome:

My “Sheds Gift” AK47 has been outdoors since early spring and she too has started flowering. Now that we are approaching 15 hours of sun per day I think she will reveg soon.

My other plant, Green Doctor, was moved from my veg box running 20/4 to my tent where I set the photoperiod to match the daylight hours at the time of 14/10. She also started flowering but I think she will continue to flower at 14/10. I’m not changing anything, just gonna keep her going like that haha.
Needless to say, this has all thrown a big wrench in my outdoor plans. I think I might have a solution though, so no worries.

I just set the photoperiod on my timer that I want and then if I take the plants out for sun I turn off the lights. Put em’ back in before “lights off” and let the timer do the hard work.
It’s been nice having that option for me lately as the sun situation has been kinda poopy.

Ive been gettin yours and sheds left overs as far as weather goes. Cool temps but gnarly winds. On the flip side, the ripped out clone is rebounding and ive been watching the suns path sun seems to be rising more to the North East than due east. I was high today so I’ll have to check my work...
