BeezLuiz & LiquidIntel Are At It Again: Outdoor Grow Season 3

Update: Photo Period Plants
Saturday morning 4am I woke to a rare lightning and thunder show. Here in the Bay Area we are pretty much weather wimps with boring mild weather all year long. Thunderstorms are pretty rare for us - maybe one or two per year, so this one was a big event for us as it lasted about 3 hours and rained on my plants. Fortunately, the plants are still pretty early in bud development so probably no harm as far as bud rot or mildew are concerned.

Gorilla Breaths:
Here's the mutant at 142 days. It's still chugging along. I'm really not expecting much as far as decent smoke, but I didn't have the heart to throw it out.

Her younger sister at 131 days is much more impressive and I have high hopes for decent quality and yield. She been flowering for about 33 days.

Dr. S CBD:
I think this is probably the prettiest plant I've grown to date. At 38 days of flowering, I think she will probably be the first one ready for harvest. She has a long way to go, so I could still goof it up yet.

Killer A5 Haze:
This one is turning into a beast. She is still growing, and as of this morning was at 70 inches (1.75m)! She been flowering for about 28 days and is certainly taking her sweet time in developing the buds. I'm not expecting she'll be ready for harvest until maybe November o_O.

And a group shot of the girls

I am Loving your garden. It nice to see such a good plant with the K A5 Haze all of them look good but that A5 seems to be the star of the show so far. I have a special interest in that one. Its on my list to grow right after the Neville's Haze. Looking great !

Beautiful plants,Beez!
That Dr.S. is a real knockout-(they all are, but I'm partial to that one ;) )
as it lasted about 3 hours and rained on my plants.
I wasn't at home when the lightning started, but I made it home just in time to schlep them in out of the
impending rain...then I schlepped them back out when it stopped...then It started raining again, so again with the schlepping...anyway, I managed to keep them almost dry.
That was some memorable weather- took our power out most of the day.

I need to go buy more bamboo stakes. It's already getting top heavy and floppy. Neville's Haze is also on my "someday grow" list.
Never mind a pipe, you’re going to be able to make a bong out of that KA5H stalk!
Yeah, that trunk is pretty big and gnarly. Here's a pic of my largest pipe next to it. :laughtwo:

Word on the street is your plants are gorgeous. Great looking garden beez. Stellar.
Word on the Canadian streets is that the word on the NorCal streets is that your plants are gorgeous. And from what I can see in SoCal, Canada got it right again!
:laughtwo: Thanks guys!

Me too!

I've got some odds and ends to share today. That thunderstorm that I mentioned this weekend (actually was Sunday not Saturday) ignited dozens of wildfires in the state and some in my area. When checking my plants this morning, the sky was orange and smoky and ash on my leaves.

The Sweet CBD auto that I havested a couple weeks ago has been weighed. I got a hilarious 11 grams from it. :laughtwo:

Also, I forgot to post in yesterday's update this growth chart below of the photo plants. Dr. S and Gorilla Breath appear to be finished stretching, but the Killer Haze is still going. It's almost 6 feet high now.

And finally, an update on the Dresden Green Diamond that I started and gave to a friend for his first ever grow. It's currently at 72" and flowering. I gave him MegaCrop to use for nutes. He feeds once per week. Not bad for a first attempt.

Once I get some updated pics from @Liquidintel I'll post his progress and some comments about MegaCrop vs the liquid nutrients I'm using. Stay safe and stay cool. :Namaste:

I hope to be able to help with his trim - he doesn't have a clue what he's in for. :laughtwo: Gotta figure out proper social distancing. We should be fine if we do it outside on his patio table and sit at opposite ends.

@Liquidintel sent me some pics of his 3 plants. He says he's feeding them 7.5g of MC about 3 times a week.
Super Critical Bud CBD (from Garden of Green):

This one has alway been a bit lanky, but the buds are building up nicely. According to the breeder, it is 60% Indica / 40% Sativa and should have 21% THC and 17% CBD.

White Widow (from Sman Seeds):

We grew White Widow last year, but from Dope Seeds. Will be interesting to see if we can tell a difference between the two. It is 40% Indica / 60% Sativa and is supposed to have 18-20% THC.

Alaskan Purple (from Sman Seeds):
This was a freebie. It is 70% Indica / 30% Sativa and supposed to have 15-20% THC.

Hay my last run I grew a Super Critical Bud CBD plant. Its in my first journal. She was a nice plant and has a nice relaxing buzz. I turned most of mine into oil for caps. They work pretty well as long as I can stay awake after taking them a couple hours earlier. I don't recall my yield but it was the biggest of the bunch, I hope you enjoy it

I remember that plant - it was really nice! :high-five:
His plants look great. Almost uncharted territory :)
Yeah I told him he could keep bumping up the amount until he sees a little bit of tip burn. So far leaves look great. He's using v2 of the MC.
That said, he is not really in love with MegaCrop. While it's super easy to use and leaf color is great, he just doesn't feel his plants are as vigorous as mine this year or ours from last year. (I'm using liquid nutrients from Emerald Harvest.) Of course they are only in 10 gal pots but so is one of mine. We both use the same soil and both topped our plants twice. I did LST while he did no training. Perhaps that's a big contributor.
