Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Hey 420. Its been a little while so its time for another update. Today is flowering day 44 for ladies and things are starting to take shape. We have some who's trichs are changing colour and all have some nice frost. Well, all but one. The G13Haze doesn't seem to have much of anything and looks pretty poor. From where I'm standing I think we'll be lucky to see a couple grams from her at the end. Others are doing much better such as the Cookies Kush which looks beautiful and smells delightful. The Vanilla Kush is another good one though she's not much like the one I previously grew. Smells similar though. Purple Punch and the Ayahuasca Purple both have some purple though the PP is much more subtle than the AP. The camera doesn't do a great job of capturing what I'm seeing. The Shishkaberry is a monster plant grown with a little light. Both times I've grown this strain it has dominated the grow. It smells good with the Blueberry coming through on the stem Rub.
We still have a few weeks left but so far I'm quite impressed with plants under the lower wattage light.

Here we are today....

But your post does! :thumb:

At Amy's suggestion, I'm trying to use the stem rub to figure out which of my two AF-47s to keep (both turned out to be fem). I'm going to need to enlist someone with a better nose.
The stem rub I've found only seems to work on some plants. Sometimes I just get a nettle like smell on the rub. There are a couple plants in the coco grow which seem to have no smell if I do it that way.

The Shishkaberry looks like a strong strain, both times I've watched you grow her she has been the strongest plant in the tent. I should put that strain on my short list of ones to try , will probably wait a bit though as I am stocked up with Blueberry buds at the moment.

Looking amazing, bud. Very inspirational! I'm watching your Cookies Kush with a keen eye as it's the next girl on my list! Then most likely the Dos Si Dos after that!

I definitely did not expect the TropBan to be the small girl! I'm getting good vibes that I'll be able to control mine a little easier than expected... But every seed is different!

... On that note, however, I have a seed germinated and in coco under the lights as I type this...

Watch this space, I'll definitely be watching yours!

I really rate the Shishkaberry and it is probably out of all of the strains I have grown in this thread one of, if not the most recommendable. Obviously as it is 100% Indica I wouldn't recommend it to a sativa lover. They can have the Strawberry Lemonade. It is a perfect beginner strain as its bullet proof and just wants to grow. The yield is excellent and the flavour and effect are also very impressive. The Blueberry isn't lost to the Afghani genetics though it adds a good covering of sticky frost.
I do like a bit of Blueberry but I know what you mean. Recently I've been craving a Bubblegum strain. I haven't done one of them for a long time

Thanks burdock. The Cookies Kush is one of my favourites from this bunch. Its the second one I have done now and I've had no problems with either. It smells great and definitely leans towards the Critical Kush.

This TropBan was doomed from the start. I took a gamble and hoped that it could keep up but it wasn't to be. My other one however is super vigorous and we will be seeing her flowered as soon as this grow is finished up.

You should be able to see quite early on which ones are going to grow big. They are quite fast off the mark

I wish I knew! That's why I need a better nose :).
Lol, sounds like maybe you should flip a coin then??

Plants are looking amazingly stellar Prof! -except that do si dos, what happened there? Did I miss it?

I hope she at least gives you a little bit of something for your efforts. Maybe she won't be as high yielding but hopefully her flowers are tasty for you. I really like that terpene profile
I'm looking forward to getting a peak at your other TropBan! Mine still hasn't popped through the coco but patience is something I must learn.

Best of luck bud, and thanks again for the wisdom on the strain :thanks:

Thanks HH. To be honest I'm not sure what happened to the DSD. Its the only plant which is suffering and just seems very delicate. I thought she might go out like the previous one did before but hasn't died on us yet. There is a good amount of frost and she smells very nice but the buds have no body to them. She has some stress which you can see on the leaves in the form of tip burn and discolouration. There's not much I can do about her now so we'll just see how it turns out. I can't work out if I've had worse luck with the TB or DSD lol.

I might even get enough to do a strain review. This TB actually looks quite nice if you look at it close up but I cant get the tablet close enough to take a decent pic lol. It smells like a good fruity strain but I cant detect any banana. Id say that the tropical part is a good description though.

I'll try to get a pic of the latest TB for you soon though it may be in the morning now.

Hey 420. It's a bit of a lazy one today I'm afraid. @burdok420 I've not forgotten you but I have forgotten to take a pic of the Tropicanna Banana for you. To be honest it doesnt actually look much different to the last time I showed the pic. I keep cutting it back as it is a mother however from this day forth I will be leaving it alone (maybe) and allow her to get ready for flowering. I'm retiring the old mother plants and starting them anew with some fresh cuttings as I will need the space for the next endeavour. The mothers will be flowered as soon as this grow is finished up.
Anyway just some pics today and some info on the next update which will hopefully be tomorrow....
