Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Aww, what a cute little banana you have there Prof! ;) I’m speaking of the Tropicana one of course! They all look happy and healthy Prof, nice job!
She is tiny but least this one's not covered in bananas. I'm hoping with the third I will find a happy medium
They do look great! Enjoy the Doobie professor :lot-o-toke:
I've finished that one already. Time for a refil lol

Personally I am very curious about your comments on Ayahuasca Purple. I had a single seed and grown that strain successfuly. Buds were coated and smelled amazing but it wasn't taking me high. I was using around 0.5-0.6 grams per joint to get high. I abandoned this strain for that reason. I saw some genetics that doesn't work properly and I am not sure if AP is one of them.

Here are some nug pics from my AP grow. Everything looks great right?

Love it Prof! The Ayahuasca Purple is stealing the show!
She has a funny looking leaf on her main top which looks like a symptom of nitrogen toxicity but other than that she's doing great. From where I'm standing and I do have a slight advantage I think that the Shishkaberry will be the star of the show.

I was quite happy with the pheno that I grew earlier in this grow. It wasn't particualy high yielding but had a decent flavour and definitely got me stoned. I do normally roll pretty beefy joints though. Maybe you were unlucky as it looks like there is some pheno variation. I couldn't find one that looked like mine when I was hunting for info on the strain. I'll Know soon enough when this next one finishes up. The last one looked like this....

Looks very much alike to me. Definately the same pheno. Maybe it was just because of my tolerance that time. For the last 10 years I can't remember a day without smoking until September '19.

AP was the weakest strain I had at that time. I also had Peyote Cookies and some quality hash. Peyote was better than AP but it didn't look better at all. I finished the hash first, then Peyote and finally AP. I was working from home these days and used to smoke a fatty per hour. Maybe consuming that much hash raised my tolerance. I am not a great smoke reporter when it comes to talk how potent a strain is. I always look for a stoning, almost mentally paralysing high :blunt:

Better late than never lol. I'm like you in that I look for debilitating meds but I prefer a body stone with the high. I am looking for something functional for my collection of mothers though. I only have one strain at the moment to smoke on which is the Hashplant D. Its lovely stuff but you dont get much done with it. I rolled a nice sized blunt the other day and laced it with some of the bubble hash I got from the trim. It was a nice hot lunchtime so I was sat outside on a chair with my joint and a coffee. Felt great. After I finished the joint I stood up and my head turned inside out. I very nearly hit the dirt and if the chair wasn't there then I would have had to have laid on the floor. Strong stuff

I totally feel you mate. Definately added to the wishlist. Shoreline made me feel that way and I am after these beans as well.

I used to smoke with a different method to feel that kind of punch. I don't know if you guys are familiar with this method but I believe people call this bucket smoking and even here, most people is doing it the wrong way. It's a little dirty, tricky and ghetto way of smoking but hits you like no other. I quit using this method because its like a whirlpool that you can't get out easily. People compare this kind of addiction to chemical substance addiction because at the end of the day, you do nothing with your life and it feels very hard on the lungs. Especially when consuming charas with this system. Still, I do that once in a while when we get together with the bucket crew :Rasta: Man I miss these old days...

I've been experimenting with rosin lately. I've got couple of nice head rushes. Nothing major. But different. I've noticed if my straw is too hot it happens, at same time it's not as smooth. Probably just ignition of too much at once.lol
It may have had something to do with the fact that I was coming down with something. The last couple of days have been terrible. The missus and myself have both been ill with migraine like headaches so I have been avoiding the computer screen. It was strange that it was only us 2 that got it out of all of the people in our home

Buckets were what we used to do back in the day. Man I don't think I could keep up with those anymore lol. We were doing them once in the park when we were teens and the local police officer caught us. He gave us 2 choices. Smoke it now quickly or go home lol. Those were indeed some good times lol.

Hey bro I hope you are feeling better. I had a low fever on and off for around 10 days. It's a really strange virus. I'd Wake up thinking that it's gone, then as the day progresses it would come back with a headache and fatigue. It's got some hang time

Hey 420. I think its about time we had an update on the 10 pot. It is flowering day 33 today so around half way-ish. I like what I see with many but some are a little small. The Dos Si Dos is doing pretty badly. She has tiny little buds that I really can't see getting to a decent size over the next month. I keep forgetting that I'm using less lighting and have to keep reminding myself. I expect the buds to be a little smaller than normal but I still think we could do quite well with a group effort. Shishkaberry is doing the best like the last one did. Seems like a very good strain based on the 2 that I've grown. The Purple Punch is doing pretty good as is the Vanilla Kush and the Ayahausca Purple. The rest are all single colas or have been lost under the canopy. The worst 2 so far are the Tropicanna Banana and the G13 Haze. I deliberately chose the runt TB as I thought that the other one would take over the tent. This one wasn't up to the task of keeping up with her friends but the Tropicanna Banana story isn't over yet. I have a very strong pheno sitting in my mother tent right now which we will be seeing in the future.
After observing the plants over the last week I think that they were maybe slowed down a little after the heavy trim. They seem to be growing well again now but I think they may need a week or so more than they would have had. Maybe not though.
I'm pushing the nutrient strength back up now after lowering it after the trim. it's on 5.5g per gallon and I will raise it again to 6g next week.
So there you have it. For the most part it is going well and is just a case of sitting back and observing.
More pics coming up shortly.
Peace....

Cheers bud. I'm mostly back on form. We have young kids so there wasn't any real rest lol. I felt really photosensitive and if I moved there would be a throbbing pain behind the eyes. The missus was sick as well but I didn't get that. It made us feel really weak and we didn't eat which probably wasn't the best move. I thought a joint might help but it was a chore to smoke especially if I coughed which caused a stabbing pain in my head. It was a bit like a really bad hangover.
The missus was worried that I might have been the Coronavirus but I reassured her by explaining that it wasn't the same symptoms though it could be something much worse.

Glad you're feeling better. I'm in mid 50's it was rough to cope with. I'm just glad I didn't have respiratory issues. I did a virtual doctor exam. They said I had a virus and to stay home unless my fever hit 102 or higher. Mine was close but usually stayed around 100.5 or lower.

Have a good day professor

Hope you can get rid of yours soon if you haven't already. We all need our health in these times.

I'm glad the two of you are feeling better (you too @Dankman_420!), and when this is all over it may turn out that a lot more folks had the virus than we thought - once antibody testing becomes widespread. You could have had it without the most serious symptoms (luckily!).

Plant-wise it's survival of the tallest in there, so you know who the winners will be already! Still, it will be a fun ride to the end. And I'm not a believer in bumping the g/gallon just because they're a few weeks further into flower. That's how burned tips and lockouts start. If the leaves don't say the plant is hungry, I don't think stuffing it with more food is best. But that's the way I do it. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Yes, I have heard that it may be way more widespread than previously thought. There are cases dotted around us in a seemingly random pattern but none in our village. We take the post from Pat every morning though which is a possible way of coming into contact with the virus. Isolation is helping but the UK is extending that period as the virus is still spreading. A couple weeks ago the predicted death toll for the UK was 7000 but were on our way to 11.000 already. There are a lot of people who are frankly taking the piss and going about as normal. Because we've had some nice weather recently thousands of people have been going to the beach to sunbath lol.

Thanks for the advice on raising (or not) the nutes. There is a little tip burn on a few with the Dos Si being the worst effected. Its always good to have you around. I might get a wrist band done up. WWSD
