Barneys Farm Sponsors Grow: Gorilla Zkittles, Orange Sherbert Plus Many More

Hey all. I've had one of those weeks and have been busy as hell. There's been a big harvest, a grow room move and then setting up the next grow which I'm still in the process of doing. We've also been doing potty training with our eldest which is a barrel load of laughs.
We are officially in flower with these now and are currently on day 2. They should be due a watering any day now and with that I will increase the MC to 4.5g per gallon.
The leaves grew right back so I gave them another good trim just before they went into flower and they are already well on the way to growing them back again. The next step for these is to begin tying the taller ones down to the sides and try to keep things as flat as possible.

A quick recap of everything that is going on....

10 strains in a single 10 gallon fabric pot
60cm x 80cm x 150cm grow tent
100w quantum board style LED grow light
Unknown cheap potting soil
MegaCrop

That's all the key points. Here's what they looked like 2 days ago before the trim....

Are you going to train the taller ones out to the walls?
 
Looks good, nice clean up!
Good luck with the potty training. It’s worth it after you’re done, so keep at it. :) A bit of unsolicited advice - my oldest was praise motivated, so a star sticker for each time he went worked well for him. #2 was food motivated, so a jelly bean each time he did it. Good luck prof!!

That's the plan. I'm going to see what they need as they grow and then act accordingly. There will be a lot of defoliation over the next 5 weeks

It started out really well but the novelty wore off and she began holding them in because she didn't want to sit on the potty. This made her constipated so we are now giving her laxatives. Its been one of those weeks HH.

Aww, poor lil sweetie. It’s pretty normal for kids to have struggles for #2. Something about physically seeing it, vs #1 they don’t see anything. We ended up letting our second put on a diaper for poo, when it was time, for a little while. To avoid the holding it concern. Cheering you guys on from across the pond! :cheer:

We've put ours back in diapers because of the laxatives. I picked a bad day to give up using baby wipes.

We did the same thing with our first! Didn't make for a mess, but it did, as the doctor put it, "take it out of her control."

I think were back in control again. For a while it was like that scene in Dogma (movie) with the shit demon.
 
Hey 420. Today is flowering day 7 for the 10 strain orgy. I think were doing ok. If we have another 2 weeks of stretch then the tent should be filled perfectly based on how it looks after 1 week. I can see more clearly now what needs to be done regarding training. I think I'm going to pull the pot closer to the front of the tent then the plants at the back can be laid more flat. I'm hoping to make it to the 3rd week before doing another defol but we may be forced to perform one earlier if things get too bushy. The plants are all similar to how it was before the flip to flower in regards to size. The Shishkaberry is still the head honcho with the Ayahausca Purple and the Purple Punch following closely behind. The 3 shorties are the G13 Haze, Orange Sherbert and the Tropicanna Banana this time. The plants look reasonably healthy. There's a couple little things here and there but nothing to shout about. I'm going to steadily increase the nutrient strength with each watering or every other watering. It depends on how often they'll need to be watered over the next couple weeks. I'm not going to go up to 7 this time either. Here's the pics from last night before lights out....

I have been gifted some more new and unreleased strains from the Farm. This time we have 4 new autoflowers. I will still be closing this journal down after the "10 in a pot" has finished but will run the autos in my new thread which has yet to be started. I'll do a Barneys section in that journal as I'd like to be able to support a sponsor still while having a slightly easier life lol. Happy growing everyone.

Hey 420. I've failed miserably in my attempt to hold back on the defoliation until the 3rd week of flower. Things have suddenly picked up the pace a bit so I decided to get snippy and open up the jungle. I made it just 2 days before I thought this is mad and I must be crazy. Tomorrow I get the string out and try to flatten them out. Other then that everything is going smoothly and there is thankfully nothing much to report on.
All of the plants are looking to be happy and healthy though there is some wild variation in size and vigour. So far, so good.

There is a lot of hidden growth that is going to benefit from being exposed to the light. The light is covering them all well. Expect more defoliation in about 3 days lol.

They have been strung! I'm not 100% happy with it yet and will do some more soon but for now it will have to do. I'll drop an update shortly. Gotta get cleaned up from work first. I'm self employed so no self-isolation for me. If I self-isolate then I starve. Sad times.

On a brighter note I'll be doing the Purple Trainwreck strain review later on today. Not Barneys news sadly....I've done it again. Darkened the mood. I'll try again.

Barneys have released 2 new strains which are Wedding Cake and Mimosa. There! I did it.
 
Hey 420. Well, Scratch what I said before about me still having to work. Tougher measures announced earlier means that even the self employed must stay at home now. There will be another announcement tomorrow about how we will survive these weird times.
Time for some more plant pics.. Here is the current state of the training. There is too much shrubbage at the front of the tent. I need to move some back a little and fill some of those gaps. There is still some stretch yet though so for now we wait to see what will be possible soon. Here we are....
