Barney’s Farm With The Mars Hydro

They do seem to be growing quite rapidly, good stuff!

They are growing very bigly! :Rasta:

They are growing rapidly & bigly, I think! :blunt:Every grow is different, if healthy its hard to know if growing faster or bigger than normal. I looked back at the last couple runs and its similar. I do like how soon the autos switch over to flower. From what I see, there is a correlation to the timing of when the pistols form and topping or other stressors. Everything in the tent is showing pistols now except the topped 3, and the Runtz runt. Maybe its just autos that are slowed by the stress?
The topped 3, responded to the topping incredibly well. They are just starting to open now, each has 4 equal tops sticking up. My head says to thin some of the fans up top, but know its better to wait it out for now. I will thin one more set of the lowest fans today on all, they are heavily shaded and crowding the soil. The stretch should start soon or now.

The light is a little over sized for the tent, running it strong has caused a little bit of tip burn, some tips have been singed again as they unfurled. The leaf tips take awhile to green up and are sensitive until they do. I raised the light a couple inches. Soon the power will be upped again.

Up until today, I have not been able to fully water and soak the soil, they wouldn't have been able to use up the water until now. Today they will be watered to runoff + for the 1st time. It'll be good timing with the switch to flower, today they will get their last fully veg targeted feeding.
A couple days ago I ran the lights past the normal lights out so I would be able to water at lights on. The light was going off at midnight, now at 8:30 am, with lights on at 11:30.

Usually I grow 3 or maybe 4 plants and its rather simple. Growing this many is a challenge for sure. So many more that need attention. This has been a post heavy journal. It does show progress well. I picked up some new work so I will have less time to spend here. I might take a journal break with the next round.
This sativa makes me ramble. :yummy:

Happy grows :peace:

They look beautiful Stink

Friday everything was fed and watered to runoff, the bags will be ready for another water/feed tomorrow. I see these will be hungry in flower. The color is already lightening up and there was some yellowing on the lower leaves. This morning they are all praying to the light. The growth in the last 48 hours has been rapid. I just added another hour of dark, its now 4 hrs. Next week the power will be upped again to 90%, from 75%. Hoping for some big main colas, Big Bud.

Happy grows :peace:

Looking good stink :)

Good morning, everything has started flowering. Some more fan leaves were taken last night. Today they will all get get a good dose of diluted Epsom salts, and the P,K will be upped slightly. With 3 strains, I need to find a good middle ground as far as nutrition. The Runts are overly green and the Strawberry Cheesecake's show a need for Mag.

The @Remo Nutrients will arrive tomorrow, just in time for flowering. Today will be the last feeding with my old mixed bag of nutrients. With REMO, I will be able to meet all nutrition needs.

Watermelon Zkittlez auto, looking pretty. :peace:

Looking good stink :) I did wonder if the different strains would have different needs. Now I know haha. I made a vow to myself to only grow one strain per tent from now on lol. 4 plants at a time. It's just so less stressful haha.

I'm interested to see how the auto watermelon turns out. The photo of it is a big girl so be interesting to see if she measures up in an auto :)

With this many I'm not looking for plant size as much as Big, main center colas. :yummy: Maybe 4 on those that were topped. :Rasta:

Day 28. Everything is flowering except the Runtz, runt. She is only 4" tall and stacked. :ganjamon:
Some started showing a need for Mg fast. A good dose of Epsom salts were added to yesterdays feed/water. They already look better. Its a mixed bag, different needs. :peace:

Good morning, stink.

Your girls look great. Which plant is the one in the middle front? Is it another Runtz Muffin? Is she going to have pretty leaves the way your last one did?

Good morning HashGirl. That's a Strawberry Cheesecake auto. Isn't she pretty. I hope these get nice colors like the photos did.

They're definitely picking up the pace. Coming along nicely.

Thanks Stunger, they are moving right along, it seems like they were just started. Earlier today, I did another light defoliation and took some of the new growth from below. There is more to be done in a couple days. The yellowing has improved, flowering has started. :peace:
