Hope the rot didn't get you down much Bapple. I know the feeling of finding it all too well. It's normal growing here to get it eventually and always a pleasant surprise when I don't. Still- 11 bags sounds very nice! :thumb:

For an amateur like me the yield minus BR buds was still gratifying.

You're making me look at Punto Roja seeds.....I shouldn't even be buying any more seeds, but she sounds delicious.

Hey CS!

You should have seen the supreme leaders face when he saw the BR, I thought he was gonna cry :rofl: He liked last years ASD better than anything he ever smoked. I have to say I really liked her also. Well she is curing so fingers crossed she's as good as what we remember.

I agree any is better than none. But how about the size of these photo plants......can't believe how much of it there was. Next year I will do better.

Very little gets me down - I've been busy again with work but can't complain.

Congrats again on the MOTM win, you deserved it.
 
Okay people, sorry about incomplete update yesterday but work has been gratifyingly busy - and when work is busy I don't really distinguish between weekdays and weekends.

So went out to Narnia and both girls are doing well. Fed Portela BioBizz Bloom and fed HH water and Plagron Green Sensation. Forgot to take the loupe down with me so not yet sure when I'm going to pull HH. She is Indica dominant so I have to be careful as we don't really like couch lock smoke except when we are poorly.

Thanks! Yes she looks and smells good and lots of sugar on her.

The BR was a bummer, but I have only ever grown 3 plants that did not get it out of 11 plants so far. It's very humid here all the time, hot or cold. Normally I catch it very early, but these colas were the largest I ever grew and the rot always occurred right in the centre of the colas.

Next time you'll know better Bapple and won't get caught by it. I go around prying open the sections of bud and looking at the center. Budrot can be seen and caught before it does any damage if you are early/lucky. Not that it's any real joy catching budrot early either. Either way it means unexpectedly chopping the plant- so there's no real happy ending. Sounds like you're handling plan B just fine.:thumb:

T'was the thunderstorm and the 24 hours of continuous wet couple of weeks ago that got her..... She was getting noticeably plumper at every visit and then after the thunderstorm she was not quite as buoyant, but I couldn't quite figure out what was wrong. I am used to finding the BR by following the trail of a leaf that has wilted overnight and is limp and lifeless, but with all the fade leaves I suppose I was not as diligent.

Next year I'll do better.
 
I'm good thanks Bapple! Btw I didn't mean to imply that I would have caught the BR when you didn't. I know you can garden circles around me! I'm constantly getting surprised by bud rot. I may be dealing with it soon enough. I've just been counting on the new dehumidifier to save my ass. Right now I have a bunch of Pineapple Chunk flopped all over the place, as you know, and I've barely checked it at all for rot. I have barely even looked at it at all in ten days! Mainly because I don't have time to deal with the budrot if I did find it. So I don't want to know. Hopefully will harvest this week -and then we will see....

LOL, :rofl: I suppose that's a strategy; why worry about something that you have no control over......

Don't worry, I know what you meant to say re the BR situation.

Last year i harvested early because i saw i starting and didn't want it to spread to bad when i noticed didn't realize i had about 200g of the shit... I miss having the space to grow what i want and not worry about prying eyes
