Bapple's 2015 Outdoor Grow - Autos & Photos

Same here... I'd forgotten how pleasurable it could be... Started to grow just for the heck of it and had to taste my product!

Heat has calmed downed a bit, low 20s and quite windy earlier on.

My girls are all fine and dandy. The three Photos (Portela day 51, Amherst Sour Diesel day 51, and Hollands Hope day 82) all got BioBizz Fishmix at 3ml per litre. The Autos ( AutoMazars day 63, Auto BlackberryKush day 51 and Blue AutoMazar day 51) all got BioBizz Topmax and Bloom at 2ml per litre, and magnesium sulfate, measured by eye. The Autos were also all given Plagron PK 13/14 at 1ml per litre. I am almost out of Topmax, but will be buying Plagron Green sensation instead cos I want to see how different bloom stimulators perform.

The fade has started on the older AutoMazar so this is her last feed. She will be given just water between now and harvest, which will be in 3 or so weeks. I will start checking her trichs next Sunday at day 70. I am going away for ten days at the beginning of June so will have to make a call whether to pull her at day 83 or 96 depending on what the trichs look like.

The AutoBlackberry Kush (it's gotta be her cos the stem and leaf veins have all gone red/purple is really putting bud on quickly, will start checking her trichs next Sunday also.

The Hollands Hope is looking a bit nitrogen deficient but I have been deliberately holding back on nutes for all the Photos cos I don't want them to grow any taller that 6ft. Have pinched out the growing tips on the ASD and Portela again to encourage them to bush out rather than grow upwards (ASD is now 120cm tall!!!)

The topped AutoMazar will have four colas, but she is at least 2 weeks behind her sister in terms of bud development. She will probably go over 100 days...

The rest of my garden is doing splendidly, my fuchsias all getting their bloom on and the roses are putting on all manner of show. I love gardening

You're right BB! On the scale of problems there are in the world - a month without cannabis is not the end of the world.

Hey DP, how's life? There will be plenty of Habanero photos later on in the season, and if I am bored I might even post photos of previous Habs plants. My favourite non 420 veg are the Habs, tomatoes and okras.

Thanks W you are right it will fly by.

Also you obviously know your cannabis. The Hollands Hope which I fimmed early on has bushed out, but the other two photos which I fimmed quite late in the game have continued their relentless reach for the sky :rofl:

Yes Big B, I start checking trichs on the day the breeder says they should be done. That ABK might actually be ready around the time given by the breeder.
 
Hey bapple buddy how's it growing! Looking good man, was just wondering if you really want short plants why not lst, makes a huge difference in much bigger buds all around the plant as well as more main colas? Just a suggestion as a fellow outdoor grower. I have found it to be quit the difference in the height of the plant as well as you can just keep binding and binding.

Hey Wildme! How's life?

I love watching masters like Hazy McHazy LSTing and doing all manner of stuff to manipulate the way their plants grow, but it's just not my thing. I am very time poor and I am a 50 year old woman doing this (including the grunt work) all by myself and just don't care for the additional work and attention LST would require . I also don't fancy the prospect of sitting in 30C heat faffing about with ties with sweat running into my eyes :battingeyelashes:

I thought 6 feet was pretty good latitude, but my mistake was starting the Photo plants off too early, cos I am busiest in the Summer and wanted all the hard work part of the grow to be out of the way by May. I will end up doing a drastic topping if necessary, but really., I can't be bothered with LST. I would rather add a couple of extra plants for yield than all the carry on of LST.

Really great advice :thanks: and appreciate it but it's just not my thing.

we would love to grow something other than Blackberrys :cheesygrinsmiley: but the lil fella seems to kill everything,, I got some Raspberry canes in but the lil hooligan had pulled em with out me hardly getting them in ,,then a snail munched every new shoot from a gooseberry bush cutting anther two also went from the otherside which is the safer side:rofl::rofl:if I couldn't laugh I think I may just have gone mad :volcano-smiley:Have a great day Sister:Namaste:
