Here's my flower tent, can't wait for the big bud and Dutch delight. It'll be my 3rd round of it but the last one got burnt because I couldn't keep the tops cool enough. Problem fixed and these mommas have been in perfect condition since flower day 1. Also don't use so many stakes it's just annoying watering. They're a little droopy from being dry, but I just gave them tap water at 6.4 ph. I like to move the ph around when I'm flushing to hit different high points of the ph nutrient uptake chart. Tried an under developed bud it tasted poor but burned clean, decent sign.

I wonder does a trichromes oils get harder like amber, or do they stay that same gooey consistancy where if you touch them they break. Which leads me to another thought. Some "me" may even take greater care of our plants than ourselves. So what do we do after weeks upon weeks of effort and care? We smash the bud in a bowl and combust it. Just seems pretty harsh ;)

On the garden front, the war is heating up. I have found husks of bodies on my plants. I was mid defoliation, cutting my big bud,and I take care to check leaves every day. But when I was admiring the sparkling on the underside of one of the buds I saw black specks. I had to investigate. I only have a 30x jeweler's loupe, and I was struggling to make out what i was looking at. It looked like it could be soil dust from when I water and gets dry and blows up but that seemed far fetched, I kept looking. I eventually found larger sheddings and then the adolescent mite. I killed it out of rage and began cutting all 4 plants down with a heavy defoliation prechop.

I washed all my plants thrice, not much came off to my disappointment. I divided each plant up in to sections based on branch spacing, and hung them in a cool and dark area. I defoliated some more on my remaining flowering plants, cleaned my tent and room. I sprayed my garden with dr dooms spidermite knock out which worked wonders years ago for me, but was unable to clear my last infestation. I also have some norcal86 mite and mold treatment that I will spray when lights go off. Switching back and forth for a week and a half should clear it up.

Fun facts, mites can lay hundreds of eggs, molt and leave there husks where they lay, usually stuck in trichromes. Mites also defecate which is called Frass, also a great source of nutrients like bat guano or manure. I found the 2 spotted mite which has dark spots on its left and right sides. I had been enjoying low humidity to increase resin, around 22% and about 85 F were actually the perfect environment for the mite to go looking for a nice woody plant 'hot and dry'. I read a trick to dissolve the mites and there eggs but I don't know if it will dissolve the resins or just ruin them.

Since I been defoliating alot, I been thinking about how vital leaves are. My plants are around 15-17 inches tall and about 15 in wide, I would estimate 40 fan leaves and numerous, 60ish leaves that reside in the buds. How effective effective are those individually? What's the stomata ratio per leaf? Per square inch? I'm sure the ones covered in trichromes are not as effective. They release vapor but inhale co2, so which ones are more valuable for and for what purpose?

This is the green crack day 7? Of coildal silver treatment at 30ppm. It might be a bit low but time will tell, it is my first time making feminized seeds. Looks like it might be doing the trick she has pistols still but growth is definitely different.

Off topic, I like how easy to load pictures and posts on here 'im on mobile'.The sites full of veteran well known members well respected by growers and distributors. Moderators seem active and fair. Cheers!

Added the 2 lemons over, F it I said. Put em in there and treat em like the 2GC for mites, still need some work on em before I let them get to far along. I'm not worried about cross pollination, if I get a few random seeds out of my 99% san semilla no biggie. I do plan on making a clear shield along side the plant and keeping the air off of it. The GC and lemon for pollination are tucked in the back right obscured by a heightened plant. I don't lower my light because my carbon filter and whatnot doesn't really allow me to so I just lift the plants on stuff :)

Here are 2 lemon skunks but the pheno is weird? More like licorice or eucalyptus, last run at this seed will plant another and hopefully get a better lemon outcome. This strain was from DNA genetics I believe. They will be going in on the 20th in 5 gallons.

Yoooo. Like the set up fam. Ive just chopped my greenhouse lemon skunk. Been drying about 4-5 days now had a bud at the bottom of my cardboard box that had dried a touch quicker (still pretty sticky but good enough to grind) Fired it up and DAMN shes tasty. Feel lit as hell. Def my fave lem strain ive smoked for a long time

Dang!+congrats man, and thank you for that :) I'm searching for my old lemon I used to pass around to friends. Was the 2nd most popular strain where I am from, the first was called Fruit and it was super sticky and had a bouquet of fruit smells.

Green cracks half way point :) I topped them and waited for the new tops to grow about 2 inches and then threw them into flower. It made one plant very even on it's own, but neither plant has bud stacks more than 3 sites down the koala. I'm not expecting to much from them, if I got 2 each I'd be thrilled.
