Badboy T5 by Quantum with 18 tubes made me very disappointed

Hello friends ,

I am using at the moment a Qantum T5 Badboy for my mothers,a Badboy with 18 and one with 4 tubes.

With the one with the 18 tubes I am very disappointed.

When I hang up the Ts Badboy with 18 tubes,it broddens on both sides and than tubes in the middle doesn't fit anymore . . .

The hanging point is in the middle.

I am using the original Badboy tubes.

For my mothers I am using blue and red together.

Does anyone have the same experiance,that the tubes are falling on top of

the plants from the middle of the 18 tubes BadBoy,there where the hanging

point is ?

PS With the smaller one(4 tubes),I am happy . . .

I use a 16 bulb badboy when you assemble them you need to make sure its all real sq i think your supposed to put one tube on each end and two in the middle before you tighten the frame down to make sure its sq and the bulbs fit and the bulbs turn and lock in so they cant fall out

I just got the 8 bulb. Following Sleaze's idea, put the fixture on the floor, and take all bulbs out. Loosen all hoods, then put one bulb on each far end. You might use twine to pull the ends together (if you have room, push one side against a wall, put in one each end bulbs, then gently push the outside in and snug down the reflectors.

If that fails you may need to keep the twine on. 16 bulbs? DAMN. I though my 8 was huge.
