I was surprised at how sturdy they are, they look so fragile. I'm no roots expert but they don't look rotted they seem healthy. I don't get it I've grown too many plants to rember, and never had issues with seedlings once they broke thu the soil. I just have to keep telling myself they are only 16 days old. I watered them at 6 this morning and the soil was wet but not saturated.

Roots look good. Starting to get root bound though. Time to get in a bigger pot. Do you measure how much you water, or just water? Soil looks like it holds a lot of moisture. You could definitely benefit from some perlite, sand, coco, anything to give it a bit of space to breath

Think it's time for a bigger container ? I'd like to go into 1 gal containers then into the 8's. But I don't have the strength to handle the 1 gal's with plants in em. so if I transplant it will have to be rite into the 8 gallon containers
That's what I'd do then. I try to only go for 1 repot, less stress for plant, and less work for me.

When they were in the small cups I would give em 2 tablespoon when they felt light. my brain issues make it hard to judge weight correctly. The soil is the Cost of Maine Stonington blend and it does hold a lot of moisture, my last grow I had my daughter order me some perlite but all she could get was the shite with Miracle gror nutes in it. It ruined my last grow. and their is no money in the budget for this grow, so like the coach always said "it is what it is"

Welp, I knew this first 6 weeks would be a struggle. I have no resources to buy anything so I'm just going to have to keep my fingers crossed. they felt very lite this morning so I gave them a little drink. I'd like to start trimming off the lower leaves that are turning yellow, maybe tomorrow if they perk up after a drink.

I find leaves touching the soil can get necrosis.
Hope your doing well.

Girls still going good. have to figure out my water situation. My tap water is really good ,I got one of those yearly water reports and I'm in the process of decoding it... Lot's of numbers an ppm's. But anyhoo I know it has chlorimne in it, an I've done some research an the simple solution is ascorbic acid, vitamin C. the issue is the amount? A gallon at a time is about all I can handle. Welp off to the fourm to get answers. Today's pics
