Yeah it was gut punch cuz I thought all 6 jars were molded… glad I caught it when I did.

shrinkage from episode of Seinfeld, funny but true!!

ok this is gonna sound bizarre but I think the single biggest factor that causes shrinkage is the actual chop itself. Once snipped they dehydrate down too quickly.

Lately been doing whole plant harvest, the buds continue to ripen on the stalk. I dig up the plant, shake soil loose from rootball, wash the rootball, let it dry and then hang upside down. This last plant has been hanging whole for 3 weeks, all the while sucking itself dry from every last drop of internal moisture. The fans are really dry and crumbly, buds too- but soon I will jar them as whole colas.

Have zero proof but I believe this method protects trichs & terps better, think the volatile organic compounds are reabsorbed back into the plant as opposed to vanishing in thin air…

I tried something similar last year . but I cut the plant at the base and hung it to dry. I found it almost impossible to trim after it dried. I'm gunna try an grow a mini plant and maybe I'll try the whole root ball method.

Seedlings transplanted, hopefully the combination of old, new, and rejuvenated soil won't cause any problems. These seedlings have been growing in it and they had minor problems in the start , but I may been ignoring them . nothing ventured nothing gained

there's a difference in hight, not sure if should top the taller one or try and lift the container on the shorter one. hmmm how can I raise this bigger container without it being to painful. It's always something

Size does matter ! these all sprouted within a day or two of each other. the two in bigger cups got bigger. how long can she live in this small of a container ?

You can go all the way to harvest in that container if you feed her… I’ve seen InTheShed, NickHardy and few others do it in solo cups

Seedlings doing good, not shur what's with the tallest one. the one in the small cup went into a 1quart container and got topped and has looked like crap ever since , no worries tho she's extra an experimental. The one in the big container looks really good depending on weather this grow could go either way

Here is the final tally, 3 1/2 oz big bud and 3 oz popcorn bud. the smoke report, it gets me high, it tastes kinda like what it smells like and smells more like what it tastes like, the smoke from it is very smokey and whitish, it grinds up nice and rolls very round joints that smoke very smooth with hardly any fishtailing

Seedlings getting big. I'd like to start training the one in the bigger container, I'm thinking a quad then go into 8 tops. This tall one is perplexing I'm not sure I can keep her at the same hight, I wanted to try and have her just one main stalk with one big bud. The little weird one is still alive, it may survive and be a bonsai plant

Got bored and did a little trimming this afternoon. they looked big enough and super healthy, so I topped them and removed a few lower branches. now each plant has eight branches, it'll be fun trying to keep them all same hight. time will tell

Welp, the plants are getting big. They survived the topping and are starting to grow past the big fan leaves. The hight difference is going to be an issue, have to try an bend that tall girl. not shur if it me but they seem to grow better if I ignore them... I feel a bit dejected

?... all 3 ? or just the small one. The 2 bigger plants look pretty healthy to me, no nutrient burn nice green color, growing steadily day by day. I think in veg, over feeding does more harm than good. That smallest one is just an extra seedling I'm trying to grow as a bonsai plant, her nutes are fine she'll bounce back in a week or two

a little water and real sun and she's looking better already. I've been pushing the dry part of the wet dry cycle, in a small container it's so easy to tell when to water

It's just amazes me how plants process sunshine and they green up. Your plants are look great

The plants seem happy, even the mini plant is growing. the one in the big container seems to be starting to flower, nodes are getting offset lil pre flowers at the stalk and branch connection. Her sister is showing no sign at all, not shur it shows up in the pics
