BabyTrees First Grow!

Plant that seed! I put mine into peat pucks as soon as they split open.

Don't feel too bad! I tended this plant for 86 days and 6 days post flip to finally find out it was male. It even got a cool new haicut.

Now it's dead!
It's gonna be so sad killing my first borne plant, but I don't like sharing my house with men I live alone for a reason!
Geez I can even imagine having a plant for nearly 100 days and than having to chunk it especially one looking like that!

I'll take all the lessons I learned from this starter grow and throw it at my mystic although I didn't have a chance to learn very much I do have the knowledge to take a plant into flower now, so baby steps will make me some baby trees!

I'll throw the Northern into some soil and hope for the best! While expecting the worst! Haha

Hopefully I can get my Cali going I'd love to try that as well.

It’s all part of the game! It’s unfortunate but killing males are just what we’re in the game for. I took care of two Jamaican mountain kush seeds for two months, turned out to be males, it was ironic I gave them boy names.

I had no problem chopping them down after determining their gender!

Well got home and my mystics SOO dry I don't know why she won't show me she's thirsty she's just so freaking happy looking all the time, I don't know if it's cause I've started nutes or what. But she just doesn't want to look droopy in front of me.
Definitely visible growth from yesterday. She looks great about to give her some nutes this will be her second feeding. I'll be using grow big, along with Big bloom this week,
I'll be doing 1/2 strength on both.

You totally did jinx your grow by naming them boy names! Haha
I named mine Mystery Woman and the Mystery was in her pants I guess

I watered Friday on transplant day but she was dry and droopy because she was hungry, so I fed her straight water, watered the pot she was going in and than transplanted and watered around the plant to fill the soil in around her so there's no gaps. I'm in no rush, i just want to make sure she'll be healthy.

Hi Baby Trees, something's brewing. The yellowing between the veins on leaves points to magnesium def. The leaves are curling down like excess water?
Refresh me please, on your grow. Are you ph-ing your feeding? If so looks like some calmag or a couple tsp's of epsom salts will get the new leaves back on track.

Good morning,
I do not PH, the soil I use has Dolomite Lime in it so I haven't used any CalMag at all.
I transplanted last Friday and she's drooping what seems more and more every day cause her lowers are now in the dirt, I think tomorrow even though she's not completely dry I'll give her some nutes and a dose of recommended CalMag and see if she perks up cause it's making me nervous like I messed something up think it could do more harm than good if I feed tomorrow?

Good, your ph should be buffered up nicely. I'd feed her like you said. Remember she didn't tell you when she's thirsty so don't wait too long eh.

Part of the watering problem might be the big jump from the solo cup to the large pot. If you watered the whole pot after transplant then it might be overwatered. When going from small to large you need to water in a ring as if it were in a smaller pot than the one it's in, until the roots have time to fill in all the new soil.

Did you feed it after transplant? You said it looked hungry so you gave it plain water.

Hey bud,
Thanks for letting me know I definitely did water the entirety of the new soil, I wet the soil in both the solo cup, and the new pot it was going into,
Than I watered a little more around where she was when I put her into the new pot to make sure dirt filled in completely around her. I didn't realize watering the entirety of the pot was a bad idea, i won't be doing it for future transplants than for sure. Thank you guys
