Bummer to hear about your hermie issue!! Have had that in the past...

Was curious BID, is this what your leaves were looking like? to me it seems to be MG and I've added espum salts to my feedings but still seeing this... what did you use to fix yours and did it look like mine?

i was just like oh a hermie ....chop.... on with my day, the controller is cool the remote i never use it may have a purpose some day but i have not really felt the need or desire the controller does it just fine and i can see what its doing. :rocker:

mine looked the same pretty much i used the gen org calmag ad it seemed to do the trick all the new growth looks great and the old while not fixed looks better,

why thanky kind sir!! i twas gone from early in das morn till slighty a few minutes past,,but im a home now, (had to see my primary health care practitioner) and refill my evil rx's and so forth... having been under the weather the past few days i have not been putting fwd my usual level of effort i shall make amends for my transgressions and bring updates to these 2 journals within this weekend!! :rocker: :rocker: :rocker:
 
You look after yourself big fella :) no updates just brings up the level of anticipation, and brings me closer to the edge of my seat, may fall off a couple of times, but can allways get back up. Take care,peace man!!

i'll have to go have a look , my only concern is the heat output the 2 i have both get quite hot and heat up my tent more than hps did due to not being able to cool the lamp like a vented hood does and unlike hps you cant put the ballast outside the tent,i have had to set my 6 inch inline fan & carbon scrubber exhaust system to high and run it during the entire "daylight"part of the light cycle,not a big deal to me but kinda a bummer i dont get that little bit of savings like i was, however if that issue has been addressed then it could be quite the beastly light! im hoping the yield with the igrow lights mkes up for the extra bit of cooling i have to do and im hoping that extra heat is a direct correlation to power and potential yield!
 
ok gang time for some pictures!! the kids have grown alot and are stretching like crazy (not my favorite thing) i have not seen stretch like this since the last time i used 18/6 for veg, im not used to it taking so long for flowerset to happen, im definitely going to be using GLR for veg from now on lol i like seeing flowers within 7-10 days im at almost 2 weeks and they are just now beginning to show sex, the dang gdp turned out to be a male! im not sure about the hbd or grape13 but im pretty sure they are female and the rest well they are clones of a known female blue dream thank goodness well heres the pics

they are running a little lankier than im used to seeing,i think thats the 18/6 & stretch, but at least the have plenty of room to fill with bud ! enjoy!
 
It seems like as the wattage of the LED's increases (1watt>3watt>5watt), and the size of the systems keeps growing (now a 1310 watt), these manufacturers are going to have to start looking into redesigning the cases to allow for venting systems. Some way to hook up hosing directly to the cases to vent outside the tent. Guess there is no way to avoid more heat as the units get bigger and bigger.

I'm sure someone will rig up a ghetto solution sooner or later, but I'd like to see these heat issues addressed in the near future by the manufacturers. Looks like it's going to be needed. :peace:

Oh yeah...your plants are looking great. Can't wait to see them bloom. :thumb:
 
Very nice looking plants BID!! Super healthy!! I just put mine into flowering, 1st time using 18/6 in a long time as well, but not seeing too much stretch yet, waiting to see what the next 2 weeks bring. I have to say BID, your leaves look fantastic, bummer the GDP was a male on you, get that pollen!! LOL

Very nice update and things are looking great in the room!
