Christiania... Here's a short description of the place taken from wikipedia. It's probably needed to read to fully understand the situation i guess.
"Christiania, also known as Freetown Christiania (Danish: Fristaden Christiania) is a self-proclaimed autonomous neighbourhood of about 850 residents, covering 34 hectares (84 acres) in the borough of Christianshavn in the Danish capital Copenhagen. Civic authorities in Copenhagen regard Christiania as a large commune, but the area has a unique status in that it is regulated by a special law, the Christiania Law of 1989, which transfers parts of the supervision of the area from the municipality of Copenhagen to the state. It was closed by residents in April 2011, whilst discussions continued with the Danish government as to its future, but is now open again.[1]
Christiania has been a source of controversy since its creation in a squatted military area in 1971. Its cannabis trade was tolerated by authorities until 2004. Since then, measures for normalising the legal status of the community have led to conflicts, police raids and negotiations which are ongoing.
Among many Christiania residents, the community is known as "staden" ("the town"), short for "fristaden" ("the freetown")"
It is worth noting here that the residents on Christiania rarely has anything to do with the cannabis trades going on on Pusher-Street.
Pusher-Street is the only street where its allowed to have little shops to sell weed. Even though only hard criminals are there ever. Never any private persons. Pusher-Street consists of a little townsquare (like 20 square meters) and a small street attached to it which is about 30 meters long. It holds about 20 little booths normally watched by 2-3 ppl each. The amounts of weed going through here is absolutely nuts.

lol.."negotiations"... What is really happening at the moment is that the police have decided to go hardcore on both the dealers on Pusher-street, Christiania AND the buyers now.
Untill 2014 they have only done a few raids yearly, but in 2014 the police effort to control the cannabis trade escalated. They wiped out the whole scene in a matter of hours, arrested 80 of the most important (of what they knew atleast) people involved with the cannabis trade.. and confiscated litteraly over a ton of weed. They have all just gotten sentences by the way.. Anyway.
As it is with drugs, where there are demand there will be supply.
So in a matter of hours the trade was open again and everything had returned back to normal.
Later that day Bjarne (dont remember last name) the head of Taskforce Pusher-Street, the unit that raids Christiania, he said that, from this day on police would not only be targeting the high targets.
From this day on there would be daily raids on Christiania. Not only the booths would be raided now, but also any suspisious person who is in specified area around Christiania (we're talking blocks away).
From this day on any1 in this area could be strip searched without any specified reason.
this is normally illegal for police to do in denmark unless they have a good reason, but if your in this area chances are 90% they're going to check your pockets and possibly your genitials.
So.. Yesterday me and a friend went to get some smoke. I usually buy my months usage all at a time to avoid going again.
So i bought worth 3500 of hash in my regular booth (my buddy had his money in my pile as well, so only 1 person would have to get a fine in case we get caught. In case of a bust though we had already agreed to split it.
Anyway..
The lady in the booth hands me the hash and a joint and we're on our way... We stupidly (but also kinda luckily) decided to light the joint and smoke it on our way back to the train station..
As we're right about to leave christiania, a single cop jumps out of the bush and heads straight towards my friend as he was holding the joint. I had only JUST passed it to him when the cop jumped out.. So naturally he goes to search him first and i just kind of naturally walked 4-5 steps further past him and stopped (pretending we did nothing still, idk why lol cause he had already seen the joint) but then he turned around and said "You stay there, please." and then he turned his head again...
At this moment i think a second passes while a million thoughts fly through my head and then i just turned around and ran like hell, no looking back. I ran 10 meter's, up a 10-12 steps and then to the right around a cornor. I think i kept running for a minute or two, then i just stopped and started walking normally, tugged my waist long hair in beneath my jacket and continued walked untill i got out of the danger zone..
I sat there for a couple of minutes and then i called my friend, who had just been released again. He was on his way to the bus so he could catch up on me faster. On the phone he tells me that maybe 2 seconds after i took my leave, 4 other cops had came running down towards him and the first cop and then straight after me.. xD i never ever noticed those 4 guys.
Anyway i hung up and started walking towards my buddy and on the way i saw 2 patrol cars. They didnt see me apparantly.
