Wow, the things I read in this journal.
Nick, you certainly are ebullient over the last couple days. I’m loving the positive vibes.
I agree with @Bill284 (go figure, lol) - if we don’t care who wins, we can shift to sharing input on good and solid 5x5 techniques. Thing about my style that is lost on many is how EASY it is. It is much much easier than it may look, not a soul here couldn’t grow my way if they wanted to. My thing is easy, low tech, and (I like to think) based entirely on logic and what I know to be true. It’s actually based on Bill’s in part, so I personally would argue his and mine are closer in style than you may think. And there are 2 trillion growers here better than both you and I who might chime in too. Anyone can use my blueprint, it’s cake. By design! Which is not to say there’s not a ton of intuition and reading plants involved, but that’s more experience than basics. And you and I (and I’m sure others) have some rather significant philosophical differences in play as well. These factor significantly. For example: your take on training vs. mine. I believe (philosophy) that consistent buds in a flat canopy will produce better all around yield in a tent situation every single time without fail. You do not. These beliefs affect our choices, obviously.
So yeah, I’m down, whatever you want to do is okay with me. I’m easy and already made the point here I was looking to make. However, I ain’t flipping a coin to take a 50/50 shot at having to go to Beantown, so if we’re gonna not worry about who “wins,” how can we figure that rather important little detail out?
@CaptainLucky , I’m already planning my next grow, and I plan on at least one tent of sativas. I know you grow a lot of them and I was wondering if you might feel like tossing in your two cents on some specifics about sativas you’ve found? Like, do they prefer more or less light, are they generally heavier feeders, how do you keep them healthy for so long, etc - that sorta stuff maybe? I know it would benefit me, and probably others as well if you’re up for it (no pressure, lol!). Thanks!
Fluid journals. Such fun.
