This is what I was thinking, it looks like Its rotting away. I've never seen powdery mildew up close or how it begins... If this is indeed the case, please let us know. I'll log it into my knowledge bank. Thanks for sharing, hope you don't give up...

KiG :green_heart:cheers

I actually just sprayed baking powder with water on my plants and when it it was super white so then I sprayed it again and now that it's dry the leaves are looking healthy again but I'm sure I will run into this problem again soon as there are still little tiny bits left

I am also wondering if it is related to food as I am still planing on feeding them tomatoe food but I still haven't gotten around to buying it so they could also be starving

I'm using good soil I know that it's lights I think ever since I started using cfl lights they grew this white stuff but I don't think cfl lights can do this I did lots of reasearch but I'm using a 9 wat normal grow light then three cfl 23 wat lights but whenever I use any of the cfl lights it does this but I don't think it's burning because I brought the temputer down to 23 degree celcus the other day

Switch to LED bulbs from Home Depot. The Philips ones at 60w (10w actual) 5000k. You can get a 4 pack for 12 bucks.
Here's a light I built filled with 14 of them. It produces 90000 Lux at 114w. Cost me $80 to build including the bulbs.

But...that looks like nutrient burn. You don't give seedling nutrients. It will kill them.

I don't have any nutrients to give them I gave them some tea cause I heard it was healthy for them but maby that was it

Tea is highly acidic and will radically drop your ph. Give them water. Plants like water. Old English men like tea.

Hey I'm not that old and I like tea ...

Happy growing .

I live in Canada I can't get the soil brand right now I got it at my house I will be back at my house later tonight

I'm in the Hammer.
You're lucky. You can use the best soil around.

Walmart. $4.00
Huge bag.
Just add water till bloom then use a PK nutrient when the buds pop.

Easiest way to grow massive yields.

Is there any research done that proves cfl lights hurt cannibis plant cause I'm pretty set that it was these lights that messed them up

Yes. They suck. Their par rating at 12" is only 300. The Philips LED PAR rating is 600 at the same distance. 1000+ at 6".
The 100w (12w actual) Philips led is almost 1250 PAR at 6"
4x the photosynthetically active radiation of CFL.
