@the beast .......

Morning mate :)

Have you grown any of the fastbuds strains I'm trying mate? WCOG, GSC and Mexican Airlines?

Wondering if you have experience of topping any of these? Any idea which if any of them I should top please mate? Mex airlines is the most sativa mix so would it make sense to top that one to control it more as is that gonna be the tallest?

I've just started training them and ponytail is on the GSC today.

Any advice massively appreciated mate :)

Re: Lower Leaf Burn On Most plants - Day 44 Candy Cane

Thanks for the information MiOutdoorsman and dandare. I have read similiar posts too, however since there are as many opinions, facts,and causes for leaf stress as their are marijuana pics on this site, I figured what that hack why not go cheap on first grow to learn the basics. Doing some reading and come across a post that suggests that late flower can be caused by too much nitrogen - I do have a late flower issue. I flushed the plants 2:1 volume(7.4PH 18C water), and will give it a few days to see if new leaves show stress as I have removed most of the bad ones. Also I added nitorgen two of the plants as it was suggested that the problem could be nitrogen deficientcy that shows up on on the bottom fan leaves first. Will post results of my latest efforts to address of this problem.

So my first grow is also a big experiment. My tent is in an unheated area and I live in a more winter then summer climate and it's winter. I insulated around my tent. So my light and fan are on the timer, 18/6 and I have a small space oil Filler heater (radiation heat) to keep the Temps up when the lights go out or cold Temps. So when my lights/fan go out my space heater heats up the tent but it seems to get around 30-33. It's usually around 26-29 with the lights/fan on. With this backwards day/night temp affect my girls much??

Also should it do some ponytailing or lst now? Or just let'm be? I'm at day 13 and there are new shoots coming out of the existing nodes.

Updated pic later when the lights come on but this is day 12

Having lights out temps higher than lights on is one of the ways to reduce vertical growth, creating tighter intermodal spacing.

I've read that this is fine to do, but you don't want to do it all the way through veg and flower but I forget the reasons why. I remember it was bad enough that I didn't want to do it.

Why not look into getting a temperature sensing relay... turns socket on when temperature dips below a certain level, off when temps come back up.

There are dual socket relays, too... one for heating and one for cooling

Bought a small dehumidifier that prob doesn't bring it down far enough

Has anyone tried putting it in a box and using a duct to the tent to intake that air into the tent? Hope yous understand what I'm trying to say

Thanks 415... I'll have to hunt something down, the heater has a thermostat but it's just a dial I have to play with it some more.

Those bigger leafs starts to make that twisting thingies. They are just in normal soil and I haven't fed the plant yet so does this mean I need to start feeding the little beauty? I know that something needed to be done when those leafs make that twisty thing. The thing is O forgot what exacly
