I'm waiting for her to finish stretching. After that i'll switch to 12/12 and flowering nutes. It is more indicate to give em veg nutrients while in preflowering phase, it will turn the plant bigger with bigger yelds :Namaste:

Tesla we r both in Dwc around the same age with same light your root growth is amazing how much water do u keep in your bucket and do u change it weekly I keep 3 1/2 gall and change weekly I'm switching to bloom nutes today

I change 100% water every 2 weeks and after that i wash my bucket before refilling.

Daily i control EC (i start from 1300 and wait till she eat enough to make EC ranging around 800 and water has dropped under half bucket (this usually happens in 3-4 days). When this happens i take a bottle and refill the bucket till i get almost 75% full, then add again nutes till 1300 and fix ph from 5.3 to 6.3 range.

Btw, just for curiosity what strain are you growing?

I have a ppm meter but don't really know how to use it right and I believe I waist more nutes then she's drinking with weekly water changed I top off about half gall a day with ph water I'm at5.8 -6.2 always I can go 3-4 days without adj ph and it's a unknown auto seed from superior seed bank a bag of free ones I'm tea my. We to Dwc and auto flower

What are your doubts about the ppm meter? It's an important tool and i think u should use it to keep your plant under control

Btw i've seen people changing entire water every 4-5 days. I don't really think that's necessary till you can keep your roots and your bucket clean. I see you have brownish water and root. What kind of nutes are u using?

Just a few quick shots and an update from my jungle grow of Blueberry Kush (first grow so no attempts to do any LST or defol so don't judge .). Ladies are currently over 125cm tall so that's in excess of 50% more than the stated maximum height of 80cm from the breeder. Either I'm doing something right or I've got mutants. The roots and the main stalks are what really impress me; my reservoir is 15 gallons so each plant has 5 gallons to itself in a very aerated environment. Those tree trunks are massive, I never thought they'd get that thick. Those are 3" net pots for scale.

Anyway they're at 5.5 weeks above ground and now they're just starting to show a bit of frostiness finally so things are really starting to get interesting. I'm guessing I've got at least another 2-3 weeks so looking at a very merry Christmas for sure!

I change mine once a week and barely use any nutrients. My current girls only get 1ml/L at the water change. The ppm meter is the only one I use too.

You've got the curse of dwc...extra large and extra long. Truly a first world problem. :biglaugh: Probably not ready by Christmas.

Ok I use Ppm to tell me how my water quality and how much nutes I have in rhere other then that idk what to do with it I'm using general hydroponics flora series master pack the brown is from the seaweed o the flora nectar I was told and on the bucket that's how much water I've drown in two days I would love to know how to use ppm the right way say I do my nutes and I'm at 1600 ppm I just make sure I'm not over the recommended dosage other then that idk what it's for I'm new to hydro and I'm willing to learn and except a challenge

It's brown above the waterline but isent slimy or smelly my hydro store guy says its from the nutes and then sold me great white root powder he said if there was a prob it would fix i lt but any info on ppm u can share I would love to know

Your TDS meter is actually a great tool to see just exactly how many nutes your plants are pulling. Make sure you do a baseline ppm test of whatever you're using for water unless it's distilled or really good RO water. Test again a couple hours after you feed to see what your level is and use that as your maximum level till you change your water. I check once in the AM and once at night and sometimes the nutes used up can be dramatic between tests. It really helps me to not only ensure I've got enough nutes in the water but also helps to keep pH in check; when I change my reservoir and feed my pH is always 5.5 on the dot, then it drifts upward as the nutes are used up. I know that once my nutes hit around 200ppm that my pH will be approaching 6.5 so that's when I give another dose to feed and to keep my pH within parameters.

I'm also using the GH series and I've found their recommended dose is way too high for autos, I use half of what they claim and my plants seem to be doing great. Took a good bit of nute burn early on to figure that out.

I use Hydroguard as part of my regimen and it's working wonders. Beneficial bacteria that keeps my roots pearly white and keeps the slime and algae out. Also be sure no light is getting to your reservoir.

Your ppms are a little high imo if you're using the GH line of nutes. When I feed my nute level is never higher than 650 and I'm using distilled water so I know any ppms are all nutes and not sediment or additives like what's in tap water. Early on in my grow I was using my tap water and the full recommended dose from GH and my plants got nute burned a bit till I figured out the problem.
