That's a bummer dude. Keep a close eye on that area because it seems you can never get rid of it once it's there. Good luck mate.

I doubt it would be the light or the soil. It's all about humidity. Maybe you could try clay pebbles or sand on top of the soil to retain moisture. It's the evaporation that will create the moisture in the air. It could be those pots with holes in the side. My thinking is that there is a lot of air exposure to damp soil all the way down the pot. It's just a guess but I doubt it's the soil or lights.
Bit iff a nightmare today. Looked in on ladies and noticed that half off Annies main cola has mould so ive cut off infected areas and plan on flushing her tonight and chop her in a week. all off the other buds are ok also i now have fungus knats i think these problems maybe from when i moved them outside for a few days??? as im choping Annie in a week i will then finish roadrunner off outside and then i can disinfect the tent completly.
Pic off the mould on bud.
They recommend that the KC45 be grown outdoors which I have done and they have only been in flower for less than 2 weeks and I'm worrying that we are running out of time for them to flower properly. I put them into the garden before the end of June. That was a long vegging time.
Sorry to hear about the mould man. I was hoping to escape that problem due to my grow being indoors. I always thought mould was an outdoor thing due to spores, but I guess not. Thanks for the pic. That pic and your convo with MedFarmer is a really good education. Much appreciated.
Bad news on the mould issue dude, keep your eyes peeled for any more developing coz the spores can get everywhere when you cut out affected areas.
I know it's no good for flowers but I found that mould could be stopped on the stalks with everyday wet-wipes. It just leaves a scar on the stalk where the mould had been feeding. The advantage of wep-wipes is they keep hold of the spores on the moist surface. May I suggest if there is any parts of flowers that need to be removed then wrap a wet-wipe around the area before breaking it off. This should contain spores that may otherwise float away to another part of the plant.
I now know how i gave Annie mould. Last time i watered her i was in a bit off a rush and forgot to empty the run off water from the plate under the pot. This has caused the moisture for the mould. I feel like a dumb ass now but at least people that come across this post will have a heads up and wont make this mistake i guess. Annie will be getting the chop in a few hours time so i will post some pics off her later.
