I started at 24" from Canopy at 35%. After 1 week in Seedling stage I will be going up 5% power every 5 days. By the time they are all in flower since I am growing Autos the timing should work out perfect so the light will be at full power when they hit full flower. When I see that all plants are in full flower I will lower light to about 10" above canopy during flower to get over 1600 PPFD for the whole tent... This chart is a very good outlier of what your cannabis needs during it's growth stages. Around 300 PPFD for seedlings, 300-600 PPFD for Veg Stage and over 1600 PPFD for flowering stage.

I use an app that just recently came out (Korona) is the name of the app I am using in the photo above, it is off by about 40 PPFD, so a reading of 40 PPFD above the app's reading should be right around the sweet spot.

Cool thx for info. Im going for full power at my rdwc system for veg. The light is realy good, hade 240w quantum boards befor this. Wish u good luck whit the grow 8)

I'm guessing the PPFD app is only as good as the sensor on the front. It's probably just a lux app that roughly converts it to PPFD for you.

Unfortunately, phones aren't close to accurate as lux meters, as farside05 discovered when testing them against an actual lux meter here.

$35 is definitely worth it for an actual lux meter.

I definitely agree Shed, better to be close than a mile away with readings
 
Day 13 today and the girls are doing just fine after we had an emergency with our humidifier. Damn thing got stuck overnight on max over 90% humidity, girls looked poor the next morning, but recovered after a day.
Growing seems so slow lately with the Holidays and all here, but we shall endure!

Just tell the plants it was the marine layer coming through...they'll forgive you :).
 
I literally almost spit my evening cup of joe out, we shall survive. My evening consists of a very nice bowl with some black hash sprinkled in here and there.. :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:
On a side note, I literally have a 20 Gallon parts washer setup in my bedroom. I like to call it my smoke station. It's where I keep personal smoke and some curing jars as well as all the paraphernalia anyone could need..
It's nice and deep and can fit my Classic Volcano when not in use.

I actually got the idea from a friend who also has one and it just fits everything with height and all~ :thumb: :Rasta:

Sometimes in use as well. I Also keep another 10 jars in the dark of my skivvy drawer for safer keeping, LMFAO:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
 
Day 17 girls are coming along very nicely, temps have been 73 degrees on average and I have the humidity down to 55 now
