I know I do! Sometime ya just gotta show support.
I'm excited to start my RSO. In fact, as I type this Sweetleef is working on it! He is doing 'tincture style' rso this time around. I have trouble tacking with my hands not working as they should so that's the option I went with this time around. I will start soon!
I have to be very careful about being too high. I have a lot of muscle loss and nerve damage. I use a mobility scooter to get around but even then I have to be very careful, if I am too high I haven't the strength to get up and walk even a few steps safely. A fall usually results in the paramedics having to pick me up. I'd prefer to avoid that from ever happening again! My plan is to start out slow, taking it at night. I think I will plan on heading to bed early, set up a tv in there or something, and be safe while I am learning how it will hit me. I will put it under my tongue and keep it there as long as possible. Next round we will probably make a traditional rso and I can hopefully find a way to tack. A new adventure is just around the corner!
Hi MagicAfternoon, John!!
I was up late last night, but I haven't started the rso yet. Sweetleef will finish making it today and then, if his schedule allows, he'll drive out here probably Sunday. He will also bring the other HarleSin clone that I will pollinate for fem seeds! There is lots going on! How about you? Do you have good helpers for your trees?
Hey Ms Magic I am so glad I got caught up here! Your RSO is so close - I, too, support your med advancement and eagerly await your reports!
I noticed early on that although cannabis is a great pain reliever and more, I also have troubles with leg weakness/walking, but only so far as my longer treks for health. This is definitely a "no problem" side effect compared to the benefits [especially compared to the outright bizarre side effects some Rx have]
I love RSOiler's idea for, what we call, "tent fun" during your test period. As a grown-up, tent fun takes place in your bed with TV/computer/phone/books/SNACKS/candy (which is actually a separate food group than SNACKS)
All of us here are watching your weather out there I'm glad your Ladies did well under pressure and hope to hear good more good news about Sammy I can see a bunch of buds in that photo once you pointed out to look for them!
Hi Magic
If there's ANYTHING I can do to help, I'm just a few hours to your front rest position (S).
I have my two buddies, imaginary Woody & imaginary Buck, to help. They want to go back to the 65 gal s. pot plan. I should be able to do a little in a couple of weeks. I'll go up in a day or two to 'watch' the action and report back.
I'm not allowed to do any lifting, so I'm useless right now!
I sure hope the oil helps you Magic!
And the tacking does take a little practice. When I first started it I was not letting it absorb into my gums sufficiently and I knew because it would burn my throat a little after each application.
I would also get the high and that is not what I wanted at all. I had to work every day and being high at work was not something I could do for many reasons. I almost quit using it because I could not risk that.
When I payed more attention and concentrated on making sure that oil was absorbed properly I got no high whatsoever and no burn in the throat.
The benefit was the general overall feeling of "feeling good", or wellness as most people say it. Depression went near zero, stomach problems went to near zero....yadda yadda.
I also had my night and day strains mixed up, so I had to adjust to be sure I was using the correct strains.
I can't wait to be able to start my oil again, not just for tumor issues, but for that physical feeling of energy and enjoyment when I'm active.
I've done everything I can do today, so it is time to get some sweet tea, smoke a BIG bowl and go pull on some nanners!
Sorry Magic I missed this post. I know you are all over this problem and will get it fixed in short order just like you do in your grow.
When we moved to the new house a couple years ago, our king sized steel and brass 4 poster canopy bed with fabric side panels on all 4 sides would not fit in the Master Bedroom, so the teenage girl with the romance novel handsome boyfriend had to have that in her bedroom when he had a sleepover.I agree with your assessment that candy is not in the same food group as snacks. And I love the idea of 'tent fun'! I wish I had a canopy bed, I would totally make a fort!
.
I spent my evening with Tony, plucking nanners. Stress makes me really weak so it wasn't a quick or easy job but it needed to be done. It was much needed down time and I enjoyed it in spite of some aggravation with my hands not cooperating fully. I will pull more probably tomorrow. Or perhaps I will wait until Monday and enlist the help of Sweetleef. He's pretty adept at pullin' nanners.
I used to drive school bus and this rhyme was heard once in a while among my grade school kids. I, being the adult, had to ask them to stop. I found myself saying it in my head as I worked on Tony last night. For maximum effect one must hold the end of one's tongue while saying it out loud. Enjoy!
I'm not a fig plucker,
Or a fig pluckers son.
But I'll pluck figs
till the fig pluckers come!
