OK so first off let's start without had this nice explanation of what I was doing I close my phone and I lost everything because the app deleted it. I want to thank you for helping me with my grow in explaining to me what needs to be done. 83 was a little high but when I got home it was 78 to 75 and yes I do have an extraction and in-line fan both of them are 6 inch fans and I started with a jiffy pallet with the ceiling and then I later transplanted into a solo cup with Foxfarm ocean soil and before I had the LED last night I had to CFL lights on a reflective dome both 1500 lumens about 8 I'm away. And I feel like maybe I could speed the process up by adding the LED light so last night I put it in and today it seems like I'm definitely seeing more growth so I think I'll keep it where it's at height wise in terms of PHI was using distilled water and I had the impression that the pH was about seven so I didn't add any pH up and or down and when I finally checked the pH of the water that I was using which is distilled water from target the pH was about 8.6

so I figured that I need to adjust the pH in the water to about 6.6 and then I watered it with the pH water and tested the run off with my pH pen and it came out to 5.0. Now here's where I really need some help I'm not sure about the Fox Farm soil because I am not sure if I'm supposed to keep using 6.5 water to get it to stay at 6.5 in the soil because every time I touch the run off it's lower than the 6.5 so maybe I need to the pH the water at about nine so that the run off I'll come out at about 6.5 that's what I'm hoping

I want to say this is about we can a half two weeks old but I'm still wondering if it's too soon to use my Foxfarm nutrients grow big big bloom and the tiger fertilizer I've heard that I should only use the big bloom but I'm also wondering if I can mix it with the Calmac that I have to encourage growth and greenness in the leaves once again thank you everyone that help me with all the information that I've needed to be successful in my grow. And the last note that I'd like to add is that using the speech dialogue button makes this 50 times easier when trying to have exact explanations

in this humidifier definitely adds to the cooling of the room because it's a cool mist humidifier

That kind of sucks, cause my tent is in an extremely tight spot, I have 4 just from filter to fan, then 2 corners from fan to outside, so 6 bends total which I guess is having a major effect on performance. Will have to spend some time trying to figure this out better!
Those cheap duct boosters are a nice help. Maybe throw one in halfway?

What a post lol. From what I've read soil users are supposed to use a neutral ph'd water. As you can see the soil lowers the Ph of water once the water absorbs vital nutrients from said soil. If your run off is that low I would suggest not ph-ing your water quite so low, as ideal ranges for the roots to absorb necessary nutrients are higher. I believe the lowest you would want your runoff to be is 5.5. Someone please correct me of this is wrong.

What do you folks use as an indicator for flipping the light schedule to flowering? Just recorded my girls' preflowers tonight, see below. And i finally stepped them up to full strength nutrients. They aren't a tall pair but they look very healthy to me. They're in their final containers, five-gallon felt smart pots. I prune the leaves that are in the dark and i have stopped allowing new growth bud sites to crop up. 47 days since germination.

Need some advice on entering the flowering stage. Everywhere i read seems to just focus on height and the initial flower stretch for the most part; but height is not an issue for me (for better or worse). I would like to wait 1-2 more weeks, but is that enough? I'm itching to produce some flowers but i want the best harvest possible.

Please check out my journal in my signature if you are interested in hearing more and seeing some pics.

Thanks for taking the time to read.

Are they autos? I would let them ride. If they are you can technically grow the entire time at 18 6 and it won't matter. But let me say they do look sweet! Nice work!

If they aren't autos then there really isn't an indicator, it's based on when the grower wants to flip them over, you can flip it at 1 week after veg if you really want to. It's more about calculating or judging how full your tent is going to get, cause you have to remember once you flip them they're still going to be growing for a few weeks, so you need to make sure you have the space to account for the additional growth

Thanks for the reply. I guess that seems to be it then, not overloading the space. I'll give myself another week or two and see how they look. I always say, "gonna do this or that in such and such time," and always do it sooner, so probably I'll be flipping next weekend.

I always read to expect a doubling in height. My LST seems to have kept them tight enough so hopefully i don't hit the ceiling.

Thinking about upgrading my growroom with a light mover.....does anyone in here use them...if so did you see a noticeable difference..? Any info would be appreciated....

Hello, just a quick question if you may help me...
I'm gonna start a cycle soon, in a 12 liters air-pot, in a 40x40x120 grow tent with a 300w (134w actual ) LED light.

Point is, given that the pot and the led panel takes away 40cm approximately from the total height, will I be able to keep a dominant sativa (70%) shorter than 80cm with an extreme LST till mid flowering?

I should reconsider and buy an indica strain instead, though I really wanted to try this one out and if you think it's doable I might take on the challange.

You should be fine. Sativas get nice and tall. But if you put a trellis in there asnd do some lst you would probably have no problems with hight.
