I'm only on grow three, but I have found that the clones I purchased grew much larger colas, and gave larger yields than anything I popped from seeds. Could very well be my limited experience in growing.

I think you hit it right on their snarly. You've fine-tuned your environment and have become comfortable with your operation. I think that's why you've got improved results. If you did the same thing now, in my experience, I think you'd find that they really do produce a little more. Strain specific of course. Might be a good experiment.

Right now, I have one girl in flower that I popped from seed, while waiting for clones to arrive. One of the clones has been harvested a few days ago, another will be harvested today or tomorrow, ,and the sativa clone will go for another week or so. Wanda, the lady that was popped from seed is at day 38 now. She is doing well, although I believe she is behind where the clones were at day 38. Will be able to make a better comparison when I harvest her.
Will be very interesting indeed, although not a very scientific comparison. :high-five:

Seeds are much more fun to grow though. More unpredictable. But clones are cool too for the opposite reason. They are very predictable. So I like to do both. I have one room now where I do seeds and one where I do clones. Not sure what the future may bring, but I will always keep getting new seeds to try out new strains. So it will never be a clone only operation

My plants have just started week 3 of flower, these pics are from week 2, when or is it ok to remove the bigger fan leaves ?

Jus. Tuck em don't take em off I started tucking mine as taking fans off can put a halt to growth for a day or two apparently so I just tuck a fan leaf behin the bud site or you could paper clip it to the stem I guess

i got my clones and put them in wilma systems, im hoping i can get them scrogged in a 4x8 tent with only a 8" canopy.

growing green crack and apparently its sativa dominant so they should stretch through the screens as i weave them?

These are my four green cr--k three weeks two days in flower. I debated a scrog type of thing but since I spent about a week training them and spreading them out I am wonderin if I need to at all in my situation. At this point they are pretty much stayin where I put em without anything. These things have grown fast and they are strong as hell.

Some nice crack you got there pal

This looks much better than two days ago believe it or not. I have neen gently helpin her untangle herself, combing out the tangle of leaves and stems. Took off two heavy top leaves. She is startin to uptake some water, the little stuff is standin up alot more and she is pickin up her droopin head. I used some sort of knitting needle thing I found to work out the tangles.

I'm kinda in a clone phase now ;) I won't give up completely on seeds, now that I have advanced from serial seed killer to getting better than 90% germination. Clones are producing well for me, seeds will be what I turn to when I feel the need to get out of a rut :)

they are nice! how long did you veg them up for?

have you ever grown the strain before or anyone?

Lemme throw this out there. Can anyone recommend something I can use to smoke roz? A friend of mine made some for me from my harvest, and I don't have anyway to try it. Not sure what I need. I'm pretty new to the concentrates.
If you have a torch and an old butter knife, you can heat up the knife and take a drop of oil with a safety pin or twist tie an drip it onto the hot knife. Suck the smoke up with a hollowed out pen. Really heat up the pin and knife before use. Like glowing red hot and let them cool. This will remove any coating that may be on them. Use a leather glove or a tool like vice grips or pliers so you don't burn yourself.

I did some supercropping yesterday. It worked so good, and a couple more shoots were above the rest so i did more today.

Should I have waited a bit longer in between? Also, is it normal for thestems to split open a bit?

Sometimes that happens. What I've done is either tape it up with masking tape or duct tape. Or do the same with the tape, if it's a bad Split, use clonex too. Mine healed up nice without infection.

Thanks. Is there anything else besides clonex? I dont have any and it would be 3 days to order it.

Hey guys, hope I can ask on this forum...
So, my girls are in mid/late flower and are doing well but have been in high temp and high humidity for a good two weeks- off and on.
It's under control now but I noticed less trichs on the sugar leaves and around the outside. Closer inspection shows my girls have trichs but I'm guessing the heat and high rh have stunted their production- if true- should the drastic change back to recommended temps and rh help to release more trichs now? Or is it too late in flower?
Also, I let girls stretch - far! Like 6 foot stalks. Would the distance nutes have to traffic affect trich production? It hasn't limiter cola and bud growth imo..
