The past 4 weeks I just add clean water to the reservoir. I don't empty it or anything. Don't want to waste nutes. So the way I do it they gradually get less and less for every time I fill the tank. I have a huge 225 liter tank, so it takes them 1-3 weeks to empty it depending on the stage they're in. During flowering they empty it in 1,5 weeks. So I fill it weekly until only clean water remains. By then it's usually time to harvest

Hi,

i just flushed my plants (5gal Bubblicious and SSH, third week of flower), adding a light dose of cal-mag with the last gallon. How long should I wait before adding/increasing nutes?
 
Why did you flush in third week of flowering?

What grow medium are you using? Soil, coco, DWC?
 
TDS meter

So I purchased a TDS meter, and of course immediately tested my tap water...

It tested at 120 ppm.

I will have a very hard time getting RO or distilled water, so I'm almost forced to use tap water.

What impact will the existing ppm have on my nutrient mix? Should I weaken my nutrient mix to allow for the solids already in my tap water?

I have the shortest, heaviest cord I could find and only have one very good, PROTECTED power strip plugged into it. I check my cord at the outlet frequenly I just wrap my hand around the cord, mine is a LITTLE warm, ever so slightly. If if its too warm to hot in my opinion that should be addressed right away.

I run 4 marshydro 300's and two fans all off the same bar with no problems

When I get my tap water and test it immediately it tests around 90-100 ppm. If I let it sit for around 24 hours it usually drops to around 70-75 ppm. I do not consider it when I mix my nutes. I just know that about 100ppm is from the solids in my tap water and measure accordingly. I would be cautious and use less than the recommenced dosage, but that's just me. I have about 15 gallons in my res and use only a 10 gallon mix of nutes and have had no trouble.

I am also thinking its weak for flower and will switch it out with bloom nutes .Just a question normally they say only do bloom feed in week 3 of flower right ? and then do you feed them a last time with veg nutes right before the flip so they will have enough nutes for the 3 weeks before starting bloom ?

Might be a dumb question but i am about to flip my two girls and dont know if i sould feed .Thanks

My understanding is continue the veg nutes as usual, I dont know if there is a specified time but mine got the first recommended strength dose of flower nutes at excatly three weeks. I am at three weeks six days flower.

Still manipulating gently and searching carefully for every square inch I can use. It dawned on me one the girls was lower due to her pot size. It was pretty easy to get a three inch block of wood under her. It completely changed my grow. I have made hundreds it seems of minor adjustments over the past five days and thankfully it takes seconds with one hand. I unhooked all the wires from the low plant and used the prybar to help me gently lift it and work the block into place. I do everything by myself I have no help. I have measures in place for gnats although I see very few. I read nicotine is used for insect control and the tobacco plant produces its own very effective natural repellents. I smoke regular tobacco in a pipe occasionally so I collected some of the nasty liquid and wiped it down with a cotton ball and placed it in a plastic whatever lid on my sand barrier. Speaking of nasty these are the best disposible gloves I have found in twenty five years of looking. I hung my only test equipment at the height I want to maintain so I can make quick adjustments without a ruler while I monitor the temp at the tops.

I also adjusted my supplemental light towards the rear corners.

Do you mean the ones mars hydro send with their lamps? Gave mine to a friend who flowered a plant under it. He got around 15g
 
Another 1st timer, with an OG KUSH auto. I'm thinking the trichs are mainly white, not much clear and very little amber. Is this correct? How much time before she starts getting a little amber and harvest?
