You can flip at anytime but you must factor 2 things. 1 not much will happen until they become sexually mature and 2 the sooner you do it the lower your yields will be. She looks great btw.

A side view would give us more info. Usually, anything above 4 nodes is good to top, but you can always overgrow, then cut back to where ya wanted originally.

Still hard to tell, but let me try another approach. Topping a plant is considered high stress training. That said, I believe you have enough foliage to recover from a topping session, but b/c the plant is young, it will likely cost you a bit more time in performance gains than if you waited a few more days to a week. This extra time she'll dig her roots deeper, and grow a larger structure with still more foliage making for a healthier plant to top. If it were my plant, I'd wait the week or so then top her, but you still have enough to recover if everything else you do is ideal.

My bad, I'm baked and glazed over her age. Wow, she's a stocky little one! I'd still wait the week, but if you want, she's about ready.

Son of a....... my plants have seeds! This is my first grow do I just let them grow?

Hard to see in this photo... it looks like it could be just flowers... or a hermie...
Is there another plant in grow area?

From what I know, once the plant is with seeds, its potency goes down. So I personally wouldn't waste space and energy for growing bad weed. Unless you want the seeds.

If that was me I'd throw the hermie out of the tent asap. But might be too late... how far into flowering are they? Seems like they'd need another good few weeks to be finished.

thanks the for the information, i really need to slow her growth though shes twice the size of my 3 other plants and i really want an even canopy . i think ill wait another week to top her and stunt growth a little until the others catch up . i cant believe how thick her stalk is already and i just transplanted her 5 days ago into that 5 gallon pot and her roots are poking through the drain holes .
